Description

The vertical factions (left) are the factions in question. The horizontal factions (logos only) are the faction they have the relationship to.

For example:

  • The Empire is at peace with the Allied Nations.
  • The Chinese are at war with the Syndicate (In fact, almost everyone).

Relationships do not have to be uniform, albeit at this time most are. It is be perfectly reasonable for things like the following:

  • The Talon are neutral to the Chinese, while the Chinese are hostile to the Talon.
  • The Protectorate are hostile to everyone else, but everyone else has an unknown relationship with the Protectorate.

Those examples are a little exaggerated, but you get the point. If you change a relationship here, make sure to also change it on the corresponding page, and vice-versa.

Relationship Types

IconAlliance.png Alliance

"Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder."

- John F. Kennedy

The two factions regard each other as allies, exchange values and culture, are friendly to each other and consider merging their armies, or at least always fight together. This state is symbolized by the colour blue and a hand-shake. Currently, the best examples are between the Allies and their allied factions (Blue China, India, the Unionists, the Pahits, the Arabian Coalition, the Reservist, and the ARVN), and the Soviet Union and their's (Red China, the MIR, the Arabian Socialist Government, the Cybernetic Federation, and the Vietcong). There may one day be a chance for alliances between major factions, however...

IconPeace.png Peace

"Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding."

- Albert Einstein

The two factions work strongly together, exchange values and culture, are friendly to each other and do not attack each other. They often fight together or at least for the same goals. This state is symbolized by the colour green and a dove. A good example are the Allies and the Empire.

IconFriendly.png Friendly

“When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.”

- Winston Churchill

The two factions work together, have trade relations and diplomatic agreements, and do not attack each other. They rarely if all fight together, though may collaborate in other areas or exchange knowledge with one another. This state is symbolized by the colour chartreuse and a stupid bird, and is the counterpart to Hostile. A good example are the Combine, League and Confederates, who all support and trade with each other yet do not directly intervene in each other's wars. It is represented by the thumbs up.

IconNeutral.png Neutral

"The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality."

- Dante Alighieri

The two factions do not work together, nor against each other, and do not attack each other either. They keep out of the other's business. This state is symbolized by the colour yellow and a libra. The best example are the Talon, who observe the other factions but do not attack them (at least not often and not in an obvious way).

IconHostile.png Hostile

"The world perishes not from bandits and fires, but from hatred, hostility, and all these petty squabbles."

-Anton Chekhov

The two factions mistrust each other and are in a state of crisis towards each other. Spy games are a daily matter and either faction has the finger on the button to start a war. This state is symbolized by the colour orange and barbed wire or machine guns pointed at each other. The best example are the Protectorate, who are in state of hostility towards all other factions.

IconWar.png War

"War does not determine who is right - only who is left."

- Bertrand Russell

Full-scale war between the factions. Men and material are used to eradicate the enemy by all means and forces are getting mobilized for attacks. The risk of one or the other side to launch a WMD are high as well. This state is symbolized by the colour red and clashing swords. The best example are the Atomic Chinese, being at war with seven other factions at the same time.

IconAntithesis.png Antithesis

"Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die."

- Buddha

The rarest of Alignments, Antithesis means that the factions have gone beyond simple war and are so utterly consumed by mutual hatred and loathing that they seek nothing less than the complete annihilation of the other side down to the last remaining civilian. In ye olden days, Rome's relationship with Carthage devolved into this. These days, only the Cult and Order and Red and Blue China hate each other to such an extent. It is represented by the Radiation warning symbol. It opposes Alliance.

IconMixed.png Mixed

The two factions are too connected or active with each other to be neutral, but have contradictory or scattered relationships: sometimes they cooperate with each other and other times they antagonize each other. They may fight temporarily alongside or against each other, but usually never long enough to solidify into Friendliness or Hostility. This state is symbolized by the colour purple and a flipflopped question mark. The best example are the Syndicate, who are willing to work for or fight against almost every faction so long as the money is good.

IconUnknown.png Unknown

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown."

- H. P. Lovecraft

The relationship between the factions is unknown or non existent, likely because one faction has little to no intelligence about the other. This state is symbolized by the colour grey and a question mark. The Electrical Protectorate, who are unknown to everyone else, are the best example.

N/A - Not available

The relationship a faction would have to itself, which is not possible, but has to be defined in a table system nontheless. Uses white and the letters N/A as designation.

The Technocratic Combine

MIR Guerrillas recovered the following notes from a secret compartment in the basement of an Acapulco Panopticon. Who wrote the notes, and who they were meant for, remains unknown.

Allied Nations: "The Misguided - It is a shame that the Allied Nations are the way they are, for once they were our best hope for ensuring the future turned out the way it should have. The Americans, the French, the British, the Spanish, the Italians, the Japanese...even after the setback that was World War 1, there was a sense of brotherhood present the Society could have used to fan the flames of Utopia. In time, Germany, the Ottomans, China, even the present Technate...all of them could have been a part of something greater. But then came the war, and everything turned out wrong. The Misguided are a mockery of what should have been, more concerned with creating a new colonial pecking order and squabbling over political rule than actually doing anything about fixing the world and helping people, and it is because of them that we have had to step in and act, rather than merely guide. Still, they show promise: while they think us young and impressionable, they will attempt to mold us into an obedient Allied nation. And while they attempt to shape us, we will suck them dry of everything they can offer and do what they could not."

Confederate Revolutionaries: "The Fragmented - The American Situation remains unstable. Revolutionaries against the Misguided plot to undo the influence of the latter, yet at the same time, some of their forces seek to war against The Future of the Americas. Some strike at centers of commerce. Others fight for dying religions. Still more lash out at anyone they accuse of being against their 'dream'. Like their weapons they are cobbled together from what was great, but now rust in the deserts they were sentenced to. Maybe some can be saved. The rest should be left broken on their plains."

Soviet Union:: "The Famished - The Soviet Union is a dying beast, beset on all sides every time it lashes out and always biting itself in the end. Perhaps it would be unkind to lay the blame of ruining the future we were promised on them, but there can be no denying that their rulers and their wars set humanity off track to such an extent that even now we are still recovering. And in the end, we must show not anger at them but pity. Their people are the victims of an ideology that starves and beats its own, and leaves geniuses working in the field while idiots play political games amongst themselves. It is a nation doomed to crumble in on itself in time, and all we must do is wait them out. The Society has waited long to accomplish its goals...even in a time of action and strife, they can wait some more."

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "The Deceivers - The Empire of the Rising Sun believed it was their divine right, mandated by the will of their living god, to conquer the world by force. They would join the people of the world together, not by appealing to shared aspiration to something greater, not to a future free of strife and war, but by demanding surrender to their godhead and then declaring war on not one but two of the world's largest powers. And they could well have succeeded. Look past the tiny cars and the eager tourists and the cute appearance of their drones, and note that in a few short decades, this Empire rose from what was thought to be an isolated backwards nation into a major player in Pacific affairs. Consider them carefully, and always seek the other side of the facade."

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "The Irradiated - Beware the Chinese. The gifts they offer the world and humanity are great, but the package they come in is tainted. They rage against the world, against everyone, and if they knew what we had then we would find their baleful gaze turned on us. The Allied Nations and Soviet Union we can bargain with, plea with, reason with. The Irradiated is too far gone to listen to anything we would have to say."

Mediterranean Syndicate: "The Gluttonous - We and the Gluttonous walk a fine path with each other. They privatize knowledge, seek to make a man's standing in life the sole result of the whims of an invisible market with grasping hands and an insatiable appetite. We bring knowledge and understanding to the people, allow them to reach their standing on determination, skill, and work. But we have resources, and we have questions, and we have money. They have money, and they have answers, and they have forces. Perhaps one day - perhaps sooner rather than later - we will need to cut the ties we have grudgingly made with them. But in these trying times, even the most disreputable of neighbors may be needed when the survival of ones sovereignty and people are at stake."

Order of the Talon: The Suppressors - Never forget that the truth will out one day, comrade. Every half-truth we have spoken, every secret we have kept, every omission we have left out for the purposes of ensuring future harmony and goodwill between all mankind will one day be revealed and made open to the public. When that day comes, we must be prepared to leave evidence that our actions were for the greater good, and more importantly that they paid off. Some groups do not understand this. Some groups try to suppress the truth, and bury it so deep that no one will find it because they believe that the easy lie is better than the hard truth. That deep down they believe people to be little more than defenseless sheep who need a shepherd to fight the wolves in the darkness for them. We will not be the shepherd who walks into the darkness to fight the wolves; we will be the shepherd who teaches the sheep to fire guns."

Electrical Protectorate: "The Impossible - The daylight must always follow the darkness: so too must we always seek the truth, even when it is hidden under falsehoods and silence. Consider the stories of robots. They are impossible, no? Their origins, their actions, the stories do not match up...and if you believe that they are not worth investigating, then you are a fool. The existence of multiple corroborating reports from around the world of said robots being mere stories, as suggested by Allied media? Stories inspired by media the tellers had no access to, or media that was from distant countries halfway across the world? That does not add up either. Perhaps the Impossible do not exist...but something does."

African League: "The Rising - Africa has always been under the bootlick of foreign powers, much like most of the Technate before we intervened and broke away from the domination of the First World. To see a group stand up for themselves and seek a goal of unity is a welcoming sight. They face a difficult task ahead of them, as history has looked poorly upon Africa's people and what bountiful resources and rich potential they claimed for themselves. It is therefore in their best interests, as well as our own, that we serve as a role model and guiding hand in their ascent to power. Our markets are compatible and our interests are complementary."

Technocratic Combine: "The Future - There are some who would call us the Indifferent; who claim that we lack empathy or sympathy for those who do not share our views, who claim that we would only act if it suited our best interests. But do we not have sympathy for the people the world, robbed of the future that was to bring us into a golden age of enlightenment? Do we not emphasize with their need for freedom? We do not force people into seeing our vision, of seeing the Future. They are perfectly free to join us of their own free will...and equally free to cling to outmoded ideologies that will inevitably crumble from their own obsolesence. And is that not the point, after all? Let the people have free will to choose whether they will exist in the right future...or the wrong one."

Industrial Guild: "The Fomented - Note the actions of the former Industrial Party in Southeast Asia. A group formed by oppression, shaped into violence, and set loose to try and make right for their region what we are in the process of accomplishing for ourselves."

Southern Contingent: "The Paranoid - Attacked, abandoned, angry. The Australians are dealt a bitter blow, and so they move to change their fate. But this their only major redeeming aspect, for they choose to hide behind a wall of ocean and air, and escape to the skies rather than deal with events on the ground. While the Misguided are tolerable if burdensome, the Paranoid are a raging wildfire of hatred and suspicion, and they have made it clear in past interactions that our offers to show them a better future are not welcome in the land down under. Still, it is their loss: we have other friends in the area, and their contributions to science are nothing that cannot be recovered after they have either left or destroyed themselves from madness. Ignore them, and let them run away...they will learn in time that one cannot abandon their duties without consequence."

American Unionists: "The Mechanical - If the American Federalists are fragmented, then the Unionists are the opposite: they are united to an unwelcome level. Their members are little more than machines, perpetually cheerful machines that always blink slightly too little, grin slightly too often, and whose submission to authority and manic violence to anyone who questions it is frightening to behold. And yet though The Mechanical claim to stand as a bastion of anti-communism, they appear to be shaping into a force very akin to the Famished they hate so dearly. It is impossible to reason with such paradoxical beliefs - the only way to deal with the Mechanical is to eliminate them as a threat to the people."

Greater Indian Commonwealth: "The Teeming - They are the worst of the Famished and Gluttonous combined. They grab at anything they think can fill their failings, yet they remain unchanged even as more fall to their rule. Perhaps, so ingrained under colonial rule, they have turned the tool of their oppression into the weapon of their supposed salvation. Yet they are the best of the Misguided and Fomented, rising up as one to better all. But their actions in China, those are troubling above all. If they were to find what landed in China, the world is truly in danger - worse than the pyroclasm that enveloped those who once dwelled in it."

Cybernetic Federation: "The Short-Sighted - It takes many people to create a network of unity and strength: Mexico's needs and wants are different from those of Brazil's as Venezuela's are from the United States. The Southern Cone was not in a position to join us when the initial call for revolution came, but this cyberbolivarian revolution that has arisen recently is suffice to say a poor substitute for what they could have accomplished with us. And yet, though we seek similar goals, they insist on denouncing us and snubbing us for what is in the end a mere lack of vision. They believe their machines are the end-all solution to humanity's problems, missing the point that it is technology and knowledge as a whole, not just petty machinery, that will deliver mankind to salvation. If only they would recognize this simple truth, we might actually get somewhere with working together as a region."

Ukrazol Ecumene: "The Unwary - There are situations for which we have no answer. There are truths for which we have no knowledge. There are realities for which we have no context. We are not yet the end all and be all of knowledge, and though it is our destiny to do so you must always realize that we, as a people, have not yet even begun to reach it. With that in mind, newest member, do not shy from the new, the unknown, the alien: engage it, study, realize it as an opportunity for new knowledge and new advancements, another gem of knowledge to add to the crown of human and sapient uplift - and take it. "

MINOR FACTION RELATIONSHIPS:

ARVN: "The Unhinged - The ARVN believe that the only way to fight communism is to destroy every trace they come across. As admirable as this is, their methods are disturbing. Simply burning every trace of communism is not enough to stop it from spreading as we have learned in fighting the Obsolete. They claim to still be democratic when they rule with a military fist over their people. Their military prowess is what has kept their support coming in, yet their actions should have destroyed their backing well over a year ago. We still have not decided whether they're worth sharing the truths we've discovered, for fear that they would use it only to destroy."

Allied Reservists: "The Impotent - The Allies rely on their people and their citizens to voluntarily hold the lines against eradication, just as we do. Just as the Mobile Guard stands as a bulwark against any outside threat, so too do the Reservists act to hold their Nations up and throw back the darkness. Yet unlike the Guard, they are powerless. They are thrown this way and that across the world to act as bodies for the grinder, their only salvation the arrival of Peacekeeping forces on wings of fire and fuel. They are the people of the Allies, yet they have no ability to decide where to fight, where to die. They are a warning sign of what we too might become should we forget that our soldiers are our citizens as well, and that those who hold the line must be equipped with the best, not the worst of what we can offer them."

NRA: "The Lost - They could have held, they should have held, but they didn't hold. Their lines collapsed in on themselves the second those terrible bombs fell. Communism killed their dreams, and with those dreams any hope of freedom in China. And then we found their lines reformed, twisted versions of the KMT that bore them. Do we aid them now, and find out what they've done? Or do we brush them aside because of the sins they've committed?"

Cult of the Black Hand: "The Primeval - If the Suppressors are the iron-fist shepherds of knowledge, seeking to forcibly control what we can and cannot know, it logically follows that the Primeval are the wolves in the darkness that would seek to devour the flock. They strike with no rhyme, reason, or purpose beyond causing havoc and suffering for their own sake... but yet they imbue their savagery with the opaque, surround themselves with the obscene and the obscure, buried under centuries of poisonings and full-cloth lies. No, this breed of wolf is not simply a beast subject to its simple desires of killing and feasting. It would be wise to skin the Primeval and strip them of their fangs and claws before simply shooting them."

GLA: "The Idiotic - There are those who unfortunately have nothing to offer the world; it is a sad truth that there are in fact worthless ideals and useless ideas. To paraphrase Voltaire, the Idiotic is three lies in one. It is not 'global'; its reach extends little farther than the Islamic world and certainly not to the shores of the New World. It is not a force of 'liberation', as they would have all of mankind shackled to their interpretation of the Qu'ran. And it is not an Army, for it is a ramshackle band of warlords, looters, and deluded fanatics. The Idiotic offers nothing to the world of the future, and when we have the power we shall strike it down. But for now, our simple disdain will have to do. "

International Inc: "The Hidden - Where the Syndicate are patently unconcerned with simple morality, the forces involved with International Inc appear to play a more subtle game. They have their offices in every major city outside of the Soviet Union, from Johannesburg to Bangkok. Yet for the world's most prolific arms manufacturer, they have remained remarkably clear of political stigma. The Hidden is capable of moving through the world that they have had hand in razing dozens of times without difficulty. Their weapons are useful. To trust them is suicidal."

Communist China: "The Damned - It is quite fitting for such an offspring of the Famished for the latter's inevitable to befall upon the former as well. But it is also quite saddening for these Chinese who not only have lost many of their men during the bombs, but their ideological mooring as well. The Damned can no longer be distinguished from roving gangs people like we hear in the Sprawls. They have reduced themselves to bandits who justify their raiding and pillaging with the excuse of reinstating communism. It is perhaps a wiser decision to let these rabid dogs die out from their own actions."

Vietcong: "The Venomous - North Vietnam was once The Docile; a land of pacifist, freedom-loving folk only wanting to make their way in the land. But when the Famished came and enticed them into its lair, the Unhinged came in and razed everything they see with a slight tinge of red. As nature's way, of course - the Docile went the way of the krait, evolving fangs coated with venom, striking at rangers' heels. Now, the Venomous slither through the jungle, looking for the Unhinged to prey on, knowing it can never again return to its Docile roots. Perhaps, there can be a way to save them, but their bestial urges have to be suppressed for their own good."

Mongolian Migration: "The Forgotten - Nothing has been heard from Mongolia in a long time. Perhaps it was never noteworthy, never a major instrument in the grand scheme of things, but it was still a cog in the machine. And now it is silent...more silent than it should be. Even China allows some refugees to trickle outside of her, yet there are none to document Mongolia's fall."

Pahit Dictatoriat: "The Collapsed - We have heard whispers that some members ask why we do not support the Allies more. Why they are the Misguided, if our attitudes and views can sometimes wind so closely around each other. To these whispers you must respond with the story of the Pahit government. Tell them of how the Pahit joined under a time of military crisis, of how their industrialization efforts turned from defense of their peoples to exploitation of their peoples, of how under the Allies the people of Indonesia were united only in their oppression by a power more interested in resources to build ever higher walls than true reform or 'progress'. Then refer them to the current state of affairs...the Pahit, collapsed under the weight of their own sins."

Inkarri Theocracy: "The Fanatic - There are wolves in this world, friend. Always, there are wolves. But while some are secret, and some are open, other wolves come clad in woolen finery and maintain their face just long enough to reach the middle of the herd before beginning the slaughter. Perhaps the Inkarri do not have the sheer hatred and hunger of the Primeval, but they are Fanatical in their own right: clad in the raiment of long dead emperors to hide their underlying lust for death and destruction."

MIR: "The Obsolete - Where the world moves forward, the Obsolete wish to remain stagnant with the communist principles that have ravaged the world twice. Even the Union wishes to move away from the Stalinist principles, but the jungle-born MIR guerrillas continue to strike from the foliage in a desperate attempt to salvage what they have. They have only the support of Uruguay, and even that is under the guise of an "independent battalion". No, the Obsolete will soon fail. Utopia will not let them survive."

The Network: "The Naïve - Some men indeed have the potential to see past the lies to the truth of the world. Yet their time in the world has so clouded their judgement and guidance that they require help to move back to the path of enlightenment. They explore like children in a slaughterhouse, and unless they take greater caution they will be served up along with the rest of our enemies. Already their skill in tracking what we once thought secure is astounding. But there must be pause. Where we wish to reveal with proper time, the Naïve instead shout from the rooftops unaware of the panic they can cause. Caution should be their next lesson, both in what they seek and how they reveal it. We can appreciate their willingness to learn, but they must first obey the schoolmasters."

Phoenix Front: "The Angered - It has been said that the Irish saved civilization. This is why it is so disheartening to see the people of Northern Ireland seeking to burn down what has been built. In truth the anger felt by the people of the region would have erupted with or without Satellite City. Now it has a singular target, uniting the factions of what would have been a sectarian conflict the likes of which few nations could even imagine. Can this anger last forever against just one target though? Do the Angered realize that if their new enemies fall away, they will be left with the same questions that have plagued Northern Ireland for half a century?"

Arabian Coalition: "The Desperate - No soubriquet fits the Arabian Coalition more than the Desperate; seeing the demolition of their own oil fields to push back the Idiotic by one mile as a viable option. Such is their anxiety to cling to their dynasties that their own sons and daughters are made hired hands in defense of their own storehouses and silos, but much like the Idiotic, at heart they are scrounging up what they can get just to survive. As such, when their coffers run out of the money they hold dear, so will whatever remains of their lands."

Contingent excerpts from a (covert) discussion between Yumi Lie and a Contingent diplomat.

Allied Nations:

Personally, I've got nothing. I've been in employ for the Allies for the good part of my life without regrets, yet the way the Indonesian massacres were handled was. Appalling to say the least. How the Allied government is willing to let it slide without even denouncing the acts is barbaric. I've personally fought both the soviets and the empire, yet the Pahit were more monstrous then even the most hardened Imperial. That said it isn't the allies as a whole that are monsterous. i am aware some of the dshadier goverments get condoled by the allies in a bid to stop the soviets, but the Pahit went too far. We must make the allies see that we won't condone this kind of barbarism in our own homeland. The only way to do this is to win the war while keeping the moral high ground.

Confederate Revolutionaries:

A couple of days ago i got a letter from America, completely out of the blue. it was signed with my name as the addressee, and contained a heartfelt plea in Indonesian to send a letter back. Turns out these "Revolutionaries" had started a vendetta against us and grabbed the first Indonesian they found on their streets, convinced that because he was Indonesian, he had to be one of us, and tried coercing him into putting pressure on us. The poor guy was actually a Pahit diplomat, but i still wrote back. The sheer ignorance of these people make them dangerous. Luckily for us, we are friends with the more enlightened part of the bunch. What these people fail to comprehend is that the United States ceased to exist when the Revolution broke out. They are their own worst enemies.

Soviet Union:: I'm not much for communism myself. Seems like a far-fetched ideal as far as political systems go. I've fought them as part of my career, but I never took well to the dehumanization pointed at them just for adhering to Communism. I fought them because we were at war with them, it's that simple. Why don't you talk to the woman near the big tank about this? Just don't mention Stalin or anything of that kind.

Empire Of The Rising Sun: The Emperor can go right ahead and I'll show him exactly who controls the sky here.

Atomic Kingdom Of China:

Mediterranean Syndicate: I've been to one of those hives as part of my career. I don't think i'm going anywhere near there again without half a company.

Order of the Talon: Having God with us would be handy I suppose, but you can't force him to like you. You just have to become the kind of person everyone likes.

Electrical Protectorate: Robot army? Tasmania? Antarctica? You know more then me. No point asking me.

African League:

Technocratic Combine: The Idealists from South America fit right into the talks. No doubt they're already planting some seeds into our prospective government. I don't mind though, they seem to have their heart in the right place, and that's what matters right now.

Industrial Guild: The former governments and parties here are all arguing about the final product while we fight to secure the mere possibility, yet there seems to be a element of moderation. Politicians are now willing to bend, instead of trying to stand firm against change. The people here though, there's so many different ideals melting together. I have no idea what the end result of this will be. Everyone keeps talking sky-high, but people my age know that every bird has to settle down at some point.

Southern Contingent: I'm really gratefully for what you guys meant for us. This is all under the tables of course, but even in that limited scope you've helped us a lot. Pity you're planning to actually leave, but we'll do what we can to assist you. That said, let's hope that happens after the Pahits are down for the count, and before my grandchildren have kids.

American Unionists: I remember the American soldiers i served with. Back then I divided them into two classes: those I could stand, and those I could not. Ever since i lost my son, north america has brought me nothing but bile. I would be interested in knowing if my acquaintances still serve. And if so, where?

Allied Reservists: I have a lot of experience with the reservists, and know exactly how they handle thins. No doubt you do too. My kids are still reservists, and honestly i see no reason to guide them from that path. I did the good work back in my day, and I am happy my son and daughter see it as their jobs to do the same. I had to pull on some of my contacts to ensure they won't feel the drawbacks of my position over here though. I hope their commanders have the brain to relegate them somewhere else then in Indonesia as a assistant to the Conglomerate, otherwise they'll have to endure two, or even three Lie's duking it out.

NRA:

Cult of the Black Hand:

GLA: The Middle east is divided into socialist states, monarchist countries, and a disorganised mob. I've personally fought the GLA two times, and never really had any trouble. I never was able to guess where the "Global" in their name is supposed to come from either, they're pretty much stuck up in West Asia and Africa.

Mongolian Migration: Have you heard anything from Mongolia recently? Maya used to get a little mail from Soviet soldiers who fought in malaysia and then moved out once we came in, but all the Mongolian ones never wrote back. It's probably just a coincidence. Perhaps they were moved to another front? still you'd think they'd write her, if only for decency's sake.

Pahit Dictatoriat: ...

Inkarri Theocracy: The Inkarri worry the south Americans greatly. They throw their people back to an age were murder was the primary political tool, and it shows in their handiwork. I'm not utterly convinced on those rumors that their holy emperor has mastered the powers of the volcano though. that sounds like the kind of rumors circulated about Pahit gas.

MIR:

The Network: The name is not familiar to me, yet your description is. There will always be a couple of people who reject events for the sake of their own, even though such tomfoolery will only see them hurt. Luckily, we're not that interesting to U.F.O. Hunters, what saucer comes all the way over to little old Indonesia after all? The only thing material left in the Indonesian archipelago is the massacres, and everyone who actually cares knows what happened. Why chase such after a vague fact when the result isn't even worth digging for? We've had to arrest a lot of these people for forgetting all about law and order, and stealing our equipment to chase some fancy myths. Not to mention they got Matthews worked up to the point of breaking.

The following are excerpts from the interview of Mick Dundee by a visiting American reporter.

Allied Nations: "I don't fault the Allies. No, I understand that there was a lot going on, and I don't think anyone in this whole land will say any different. But the fact is, they didn't think much of our plight until after the fact. We don't hate them like others, but we don't want to be tied to that wagon any longer."

Confederate Revolutionaries: "Likewise, I can't fault the Confederates either. Face it, they lost two of their largest cities to the war when the Allies were supposed to have been protecting them, and that situation with Hoffhassle would make anyone ask questions. But then they keep saying Ackerman was in the right? Killing off an entire city just to get at one man? I don't think they know what they're after anymore."

Soviet Union:: "Truth be told, the Soviets historically have been someone else's problem for us. But it's almost as if the Allies are just more concerned with their own rivalry against the Soviets than actually doing something to help those brutalized by the Empire. I don't fault them like the previous two; Stalin was the most brutal enemy they've ever faced. But if these reds ever come a-knocking with less-than-noble intentions, I'd be happy to knock Ivan back to Moscow like what the Allies two wars ago."

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "Of course, we're still angry about the war. Queensland wasted to almost nothing, Auckland torn down to shreds, our people and culture almost wiped out? Years where just teaching our own languages was a crime? Countless people worked to the bone to dig up our own resources for them? But we're trying our best to look at the perspective of it all. The Japanese believe their emperor's a living god, right? Can you really fault a man who just wants to please his god? No, you should take issue with the god himself."

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "Something wrong about those ones. I don't know what kind of weapons those bombs were, but there was something off about them no question. Now I hear stories about monsters and clones and dead people brought back to life, and I just try to fathom how they let it get that far."

Mediterranean Syndicate: "Roanapur is a haven of pirates and scum, and I don't trust anyone who can call that place a home. Something off about them there, like they're being guided almost. I can't think of any other way to explain how their raids always seem to hit where there's something valuable to us."

Order of the Talon: "Religion, I don't personally have any organized beliefs. If people want to believe in something, well good on them. Myself, I'm more worried about the idea that it can be used to turn people into something terrible. Something that can be used like a piece on a game board."

Electrical Protectorate: "We've heard reports of this "robot army" attacking Tasmania and disrupting our research stations in Antarctica, and some theorists here have connected the pieces together to some unknown land in Antarctica. The higher-ups on top say we gotta deal with them; that is, if those machines are responsible for our men disappearing in that sheet of ice. Damn, even I wouldn't want to go there, if metal can indeed come alive, as they say...."

African League: "Africa's been suffering under the boot of promise breakers for too long, and I can't fault them for trying to determine the path their nations will take. In fact, maybe after we've pulled ourselves by our own bootstraps and rebuilt our countries, we'd be happy to hand out some of our goods to these guys! But there's the issue of distance, not to mention how many there will be genuine in assisting us."

Technocratic Combine: "Now, now, don't get me wrong, mate. They do have some good ideas for world peace and all, but the last time someone told us what future should we Aussies look forward to thanks to them, they left us. How can we trust others saying the same thing after all if that? I do hope that the Technate do turn their ideal future into a reality for the rest of the world. As for us, we're content in forging our own path- hopefully a path that doesn't turn its back from you when you need it the most."

Industrial Guild: "The rest call these guys communists, tools for the reds to start overtaking Southeast Asia. I call them disenfranchised Indonesians, those unfairly subjugated by their own government just because a few reds slipped through their cracks. By the way, they've been good friends since we met, I do hope we can still be in contact with them even after we set on a journey to a better place."

Southern Contingent: "We don't hate. Sure, we'll get into a fight to defend ourselves no question. But we don't hate anyone for what's happened, not even the Japanese if you can believe it. We just want to live by our own destiny, find our own path away from the fighting in the world. If anyone gets in our way, well they'll get what's coming to them."

American Unionists: "I remember a Unionist delegate sent by the Allies to Canberra for a post-war press conference. Well-dressed, had a way with words, I've nearly changed my mind until I've realized something wrong about him. The unwavering grin that Unionist bloke gave was nothing short of unnatural; wakes me up at night just thinking of it. And believe me, the Allies aren't making progress at making us want to be a part of them again if he is their best representative."

Greater Indian Commonwealth: "About these guys, I'm not being too fond of their current actions lately. They do a good job in stomping down terrorists in Pakistan, but the way they've been swallowing nearby lands onto themselves? That seems a bit familiar... No, honestly, I stay awake even at night thinking when that Indian empire is gonna set up shore here, while we're still starting our reconstruction efforts..."

Cybernetic Federation: "Live and let live, mate. If their fancy computers can make miracles each day for their government, then let them use it. They've been pretty good traders, even if their tanks fall a bit behind from the decade. But even then, we should be focusing on our own reconstruction more; they're clearly more focused on theirs now."

Ukrazol Ecumene: "Space is one wide place, of course there's gonna be life somewhere. But what we do not know is if those life will be friendly with us or not. If the aliens we do meet are quite agreeable, we'd be happy to do business with them. But if not, then we're gonna to defend ourselves."

MINOR FACTION RELATIONSHIPS:

ARVN: "I've thought of all the consequences, the possibilities about this war... and yet I still do not see why would the Allies spend more their time in Southeast Asia than those that were damaged by war. Especially now that they're on the side of a military junta discarding any soldier they believe to be weak. That seem a bit ironic, don't you think? And is it really worth it, backing the ARVN?"

Allied Reservists: "Oh yeah, the Reservists who got the short end of the stick. Had a few cousins who were part of it, or at least before the Allies started to turn their attention on good ol' Ackerman instead of the Empire-ravaged countries. But I do know what it's like to be viewed as an individual to be just mention in Allied speeches and nothing more. To be seen as an expendable weapon that can be discarded once they start acting funny".

NRA: "I actually feel bad for what happened to these blokes. The Allies weren't there when they got their coits nuked to hell, and they're completely stuck defending the survivors from monsters in that wasteland. I don't know if those reports are reliable or not, but I do find their 'zombie soldiers' personally revolting, it actually makes you sad that they're so miserable that they have to hook up a dead soldier who just recently killed himself back to life just to keep shooting at other people again. I just wish that maybe they'd find peace in whatever life beyond here..."

Cult of the Black Hand: "I told you earlier, I'm worried about how religion can be twisted to make us mere chess pieces on the board. Today, how it can turn devout men to raging lunatics. While it's not true for every faithful, it certainly applies to these other 'cultists' here. Some of our adalumas in Adelaide hear about some 'cultists' in the frontier towns, actively culling livestock and killing crops without any reason or rhyme, only to be burned beyond recognition the next day. But to tell you the truth? We don't want to be a part of the game board anymore, we're gonna have to just flip it and bail out of their way."

GLA: "The same thing I said about the 'cult' I've been talking about earlier applies to these 'freedom fighters'. Anyway, we'd be happy to accept anyone from the Middle East who escaped from these monsters, but if they're a part of this group wanting to bomb us we're gonna kick them out."

International Inc: "We don't really need II assistance; we've got all the blueprints we need, although rusted they may be. We're not exactly lacking in tanks, and our own exotic brand of firearms outclass their own any time."

Communist China: "I honestly can't help but pity the Maoists any less than the Nationalists. The refugees in our midst remind us of how many of their loved ones were just conscripted to be cannon fodder, and when they die they just get cloned with new bodies just to remain as cannon fodder for Mao. Those that survived the bombs weren't any better; many of these conscripts just becoming like the bandits our frontiers here face regularly."

Vietcong:

Mongolian Migration: "I've asked a woman who escaped from China the other day, and she doesn't recall anything about Mongolia. If the monsters ever got to them, then may their souls rest in peace."

Pahit Dictatoriat: "They're called a dictatoriat, and that should imply what that nation's gonna be."

Inkarri Theocracy: "I sympathize with a lot of them, victims of colonialism as they are. Here in Australia, we used to be the British Crown's premier dumping ground of prisoners from the rest of their colonies. But there's just a few things that do not seem right about them, I tell you. The way they use celebrities to keep people vomiting money to their own coffers, for one."

MIR: "You gotta hand it to them. While the ideology they fight for might not be the right one in my eyes, these are the people who just keep going. They get blasted down, rained down, gunned down, but they just keep moving forward. Sounds like honorary Australians to me, to be honest."

The Network: "I found this fellow waltzing Matilda and nearly dead from thirst when I found him. When I pulled him up and patched him together, said he was looking for a bunyip. That was all well and good, until I pointed out that those were in marshes, and he was closer to Ayers Rock than anything else. So he starts going on about yowies. A fine case he was."

Phoenix Front: "I get a bad feeling about them. Doesn't fit right, how they pulled together so quick. Sure, the Allies made mistakes, but I'm not sure a lot of them are actually fighting against the Allies or the Legion Security boys. I think it was just a lot of pent up anger there, and now they have a way to finally let it out."

Arabian Coalition: "I understand that the Allies need oil, and they're gonna need to buddy up with the owners of that oil to keep the machinery going. But honestly, I can't help but feel a little bit of envious on how they've been selective in who are they gonna assist through these dire times."

Arabian Socialist Government: "One thing's for sure, they wouldn't be much of a danger to us, with how many rivers and seas they have to cross through to get here. Not to mention, they're too embroiled in their little war."

Greater Indian Commonwealth

The following are excerpts from Prime Minister Indira Nehru's press conference with the Times of India in March 15, 1969.

Allied Nations: "As a nation, we are indebted to the Allies as a whole for their assistance throughout our history. They have guided throughout two world wars and even offered us their assistance in our growth back then. As tokens of our gratitude, we abolished the caste system in their urging and even pledged some of our soldiers to fight with them in the Vietnamese, Chinese and Middle Eastern theaters. We hope someday that we can finally stand as equals with them in hopes that we can no longer be thought of as mere vassals for the Allies."

Confederate Revolutionaries: "Ungrateful brats, that is what they are. Apparently, when a lunatic unveils his weapon to kill thousands of innocents for his crusade against communism, nobody in this so-called "Confederacy" batted an eye. But when the Allies rightfully deal with that lunatic and try to protect to American people from themselves, all of them had lost their minds over that. Let me personally ask you this question: if Confederate militias are fighting each other more than their supposed enemy, are not they contributing to the same lawlessness the Allies have vowed to fight? Are not they also giving more and more credence to the Allied cause?"

Soviet Union:: "Everything that had to be said about the Soviets have already been said by the Allies. It is a power bent on oppressing people equally to the whims of its overlords while parading that ideology as "for the good of the people". But for all of their threat to the security of not only our region, but also the free world as a whole, India has still something to thank the communists for: the opportunity to step up onto the world stage like the Allies. So if the reds ever decide to invade us or our neighboring countries again, our sepoys shall overrun their conscript waves again like the Second World War."

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "Of course, we can never forget how the Imperials have almost laid siege in Delhi a world war ago. But now, their demons have been driven out of their country, and the Japanese are now one of our premier partners in commerce and trade. If that economic friendship remains stable in the future, then well and good. But the moment they attempt to lay their hands against our independence, our armies will chase them as far as the distance between Thane and Tokyo."

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "It isn't hyperbole to say they're the greatest threat to the world to date, but not because of their technology. If anything, their creations are of a questionable military usefulness. No, it is their philosophies that are the danger. Their belief in this "Emperor", their hordes of clones, show such a callous disregard to human life in their own subjects that any outside their control must be seen as worth even less. Such people do not deserve these great technologies if all they plan to do is squander them."

Mediterranean Syndicate: "Many decry the Syndicate as a banking monster. We do not see the same image. Other nations are indebted to them because they were so desperate to been seen as modern that their souls were forfeit. Not India. We made it clear that we were equals to the bankers, not their pawns. From that, we have gained a trading partner, an economic security that did not sacrifice our independence. And they know that should any attempt be made on our sovereignty, we would pay any price to preserve it."

Order of the Talon: "Spirituality has been deeply ingrained to the culture of India. From the Shruti to the Bible and even the Qu'ran and the Torah, the followers of these texts in this country have been coexisting for a long period of time of now. So we should not be too worried of this sudden influx of Christian missionaries heading to India, as long as none of them will disrupt the country's natural harmony between different faiths. Also, we shouldn't focus too much on the ramblings of those men prattling how these missionaries ride steam walkers and wield crossbows; the plausibility of their claims is still debatable still."

Electrical Protectorate: "Reports coming from our forces stationed in Madagascar have been… disturbing, to say the least. Apparently, they say that no other human life exists on that island besides them. They say if there were any life in that island, they have all been gone due to the 'living metal' - where metallic soldiers and bleeding tanks overwhelm them with sheerer numbers than our own. While we are tempted to claim that the Empire is responsible for these bizarre phenomena - given that their level of technology makes it possible for them to create these robots, our own sources has claimed that even they have encountered these strange automata at times."

African League: "Many Africans will misunderstand this, but our peacekeeping operations in their continent is ultimately for their own good. Take Somalia, for example, a nation infested by corsairs and criminals, and nearby countries becoming hotbeds for GLA terrorism. We promise that once these elements have been rooted out, we shall relegate them from the fifth-world rung of the ladder to the first-world like most of the Allied Nations. That is, if their leaders are willing to cooperate with us on this."

Technocratic Combine:

Industrial Guild:

Southern Contingent:

American Unionists:

Greater Indian Commonwealth: "We are the result of the follies of colonialism, the rebirth of a power that held the world in sway for millennia. We make no colonies anymore, but instead are lifting the nations we accept into our confederation up to the same level as France or England. These "resistances" are not freedom fighters, but terrorists using the support we give to their homelands as an excuse to claim that we attempt to "control" their homes. We know they are wrong, and should they continue to fight us, we will show them their errors."

Cybernetic Federation:

Ukrazol Ecumene:

MINOR FACTION RELATIONSHIPS:

ARVN: "We do not doubt the ARVN's willingness to stamp out insurgency in their own lands, having experienced it in our own as well. What we have doubts, however, is their excessive flouting of international laws regarding proper method of war. If we can manage to slightly rein in the Rangers while leaving their battle prowess alone, then perhaps we can bring a swift end to the Vietnam conflict - and the moral battleground as well."

Allied Reservists: "We personally offer our gratitude to the Reservists for giving thousands of Indians a chance to defend their country, and the free world as a whole. Thanks to them, our own citizens have the privilege to fight for their own homelands while providing for their families at the same time. We look forward to a more beneficial relationship between the greater Reservists."

NRA: "In spite of the atomic holocaust, the remnants of the Republic of China must be commended for standing firm with the principles of democracy and liberty in such a very dire climate. Though we do not deny the reports coming out of Blue Chinese bases regarding the splintering of their command hierarchy, we still must make haste in assisting those who remains loyal to the Allied cause to retrieve Atomic Chinese technology to be used for good instead of wanton destruction."

Cult of the Black Hand: "This description of this so-called "Cult" seems familiar... at least in Indian history. The Thuggees of old can be likened to a criminal gang nowadays, brigands who wander the land, killing people indiscriminately and pillage wealth from their dead bodies. So if this "Black Hand" are indeed the murderous terrorists you make them out to be, we shall swiftly deal with them as how the British Raj did in their time."

GLA: "Do not fall for their lies. While it is true that we annexed Pakistan, Somalia, Oman and other countries, do we not extend them a helping hand? Do we not attempt to elevate them above what they currently are while ensuring their security against these terrorists at the same time? I tell you this: the soldiers of this "Liberation Army" have been brainwashed by their leaders to fight for what they think will bring their lands freedom, but we know better. Their warlords are nothing but petty criminals, seeking to build their own fiefdoms at the expense of their own people. And as such, the best way to deal with them is to treat these rebels like the terrorists they are."

International Inc: "Local II manufacturing plants here in Pune and Chennai have been very productive and lucrative creators of military vehicles, which many of them are purchased by the F.C. for use in more troublesome areas. Our only real complaint is their integrity: Scorpion tanks ending up in terrorist hands, for example. If they would carefully discern more between genuine buyers and insurgent proxies, then they could regain some of our trust."

The Network: "Yes, the Allies have thoroughly investigated and examined their so-called 'evidence' for 'monsters' attacking GLA bases, and they came to the same conclusion that we did: these are nothing but doctored photographs created by these so-called 'truth seekers'. It cannot be said that they seek the truth, for one has to gather facts to make up a conclusion. Instead, they gather their own conclusion, and make up facts - often tinged and paranoia and prejudice. We will not be surprised if any of this 'Network' is actually acting in concordance with GLA cells to slander us. A stern warning will suffice, and should they ignore it, and if it is proven that they are working with terrorists, we will be forced to enact the law."

"These Excerpts were taken from recordings of a bugged room inside Cybersyn. It's suspected they are conversations from members of the mysterious known only as GAF"

Allied Nations: "It's a shame, really. We could have accomplished so much together, you should know that we've taken Chronotechnology to unprecedented levels. Nonetheless, we did what was necessary, and the Allied Nations simply don't take well to our leanings nor our methods; maybe it's better that way. However we must teach them the dangers that their Chronosphere will bring about to the world through reason, or through force..."

Confederate Revolutionaries: "It's curious, really. I can't but feel most of our accomplishments were thanks to the United States diverting attention to them, but I suppose that's just how things work here in the Americas. Our projections are undecisive, there's as much a chance for the revolution to triumph as there's one for it to falter and die. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to intervene for our own good..."

Soviet Union:: "They are great providers, there's no denying that. Too bad, though, that the world is in the shape it is and most communications are disrupted in some way or another. Anyways, let's keep playing to their good side for as long as we're not prepared to go on our own."

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "That Japan attacked the rest of the world once it industrialized seemed to be inevitable. Now, however, I fear what they might bring to the world, they are simply too advanced, they seem to be centuries ahead of the rest of us in every field, and that can't mean good for the world."

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "I'll tell you this and I hope you know well enough that this should be kept inside these walls. The Atomic Kingdom is not a danger. We're not of their concern and they'll probably fly above us if all things go to worse. Oh yeah, they are violent and won't hesitate on attacking anyone who provokes them. But trust me, they are not the real enemy, our real enemy. Nonetheless, they make up for a good scapegoat, let's keep the preparations against our real enemy while using China as the excuse."

Mediterranean Syndicate: "There's something that simply doesn't sit me well with these guys, don't misinterpret me, it's not their amorality, but this kind of free open market economy simply doesn't fit in this timeframe, they are off-focus somehow. Anyways, let's keep playing their game, buy the electronics, keep them away from our industry, everything should go swell."

Order of the Talon: "We've managed to uncover some leads that point that the Church got involved into the Chilean Coup, nothing big mind you, it mostly leads you to nowhere, still though, it is intriguing, our Panopticon at least shows that our Inkarri business shall be interfered by third actors rather sooner than later..."

Electrical Protectorate: "You want to know what happened in Tierra del Fuego? Trust me, no, you don't. It's the Apocalypse my friend. The end looming in the distance, we've got to put every resource at our disposal so we can keep it away, but I'm still not sure if we'll be able to postpone it for long enough, I'm not sure if what we do will be enough."

African League: "You should know full well, my friend, that the Independence of the African colonies was but the natural progression of history, it simply had to happen. There's more to it than what shows at first glance though, the events that will come over Africa come the next decade will be big, however, none of our business."

Technocratic Combine: "It's simply... impossible. The Technate simply... shouldn't be here. None of our projections predicted it. It simply is an anomaly, an historical inconsistency and I believe that's what makes me fear the most. We were supposed to advance unopposed, to have Latin America at our disposal to keep the inevitable from happening. However that was not the case, and we'll have to act accordingly. They seem to not be a great danger, as long as we manage to play their political game, whatever it may mean. There's something of special concern in this case though, the CBURA they have may bring our entire operation down, I suggest cracking down as soon as possible, by any means necessary."

Industrial Guild: "Indonesia is on an impressive state of tumult right now, that may prove useful for us however, not only have we won a conveniently cheap source of materials to build our industry while keeping a low profile, but if we play our cards right we may be able to infiltrate on the Empire's sphere of influence without raising too much suspicion."

Southern Contingent: "Australia has taken a very... odd direction in this timeline, it seems they've gotten extremely reclusive, it has proven all but impossible to establish diplomatic relations with them. I believe we don't need much of their help, yet I'd suggest keeping an eye on their activities, just to be sure."

American Unionists: "The Chilean War and the Coup, yeah, there's something more to that. The military wouldn't have rebelled so easily, you know, even if the conditions were favorable, it shouldn't had been as widespread as it was, not as easy as it was, I believe the CIA is responsible, even this soon in the timeline, what's more, I believe they are still here. Call me paranoid, but disbanding the entire military was the correct course of action."

Greater Indian Commonwealth: "India seems to have taken the position as the most populous country on the face of the Earth after what, ermh, happened to China. This could prove to be really bad news for us, as if the Allied Nations wanted to, they'd really be able to overwhelm us within a few weeks, fortunately however, this new Commonwealth seems to have plans of its own, let's just keep hoping they keep within that mentality."

Cybernetic Federation: "You may wonder my friend. Why cyberneticd? What's this whole Cybersyn deal? Let me tell you, my friend. This is our salvation. The future is dark, grim and hopeless, but if we manage to keep things regulated, controlled, we may be able to pull off and triumph in the face of adversity, and these computers, my friend, will make it all possible. Just leave it all in the hands of the machine and it shall lead us to prosperity, to victory. Cybersyn is the answer to all our problems, if we just keep trusting and perfecting this machine."

Ukrazol Ecumene: "The real danger? Who are we really preparing for? You wouldn't believe me even if you saw it with your very own eyes. I'll tell you this, we're not alone in this universe, and no danger in this planet shall ever equal that which has come from beyond the stars, we're but a speck in the grand scheme, but at the very least, we'll try and prove we're more trouble that it's worth for them, and hopefully that'll be enough to let us live another day."

MINOR FACTION RELATIONSHIPS:

ARVN: Ah yes, the Vietnam war, it's nothing but a footnote of history, however the Allies seem to have particular interest in this conflict, maybe we should intervene, just to try and see what happens.

Allied Reservists: It's sad really, though I guess it let us the door open to enter the stage and intervene. This Chilean War shouldn't have happened, for a decade at least, either the Third World War has messed up terribly, or the Argentine army really had something to prove, nonetheless, we've got plenty of equipment left over, let's better give it a good use.

NRA: Though China has been blown to Kingdom come, it seems some elements keep waging the hopeless war that for all intents and purposes should have ended long ago, one can't but feel sad for them, but trust me, a similar fate awaits us if we're not well prepared.

Cult of the Black Hand: We've gotten some, odd, reports during our raids in Inkarri land, it seems there's another group at large in this battle, one that can't be reasoned with, bargained with, and doesn't seem to have a clear objective beyond causing mayhem, we're still not sure what's the real deal here, but I suggest keeping an eye open, there's something fishy going on.

GLA: Conflict in Middle East seems to be, sadly, a constant. This type of terrorism however didn't seem to appear this soon, meaning that someone's or something as a missing piece in this puzzle, there's more to this situation that what we know, hopefully, it's too far to be of relevance to us.

International Inc: War is big business in this timeline I see. We've recently heard of this contractor, International Incorporated at it calls itself, providing military grade equipment for relatively cheap, it may prove useful for us, though it doesn't seem to provide what we really need, which is electronics, sadly.

Communist China: Unlike what we're used to, it seems Communism is but a shadow in China, and that does affect our plans somewhat, too bad, we'll have to stay away from trade with a potentially huge partner, though it may give us a good starting point for expeditions, we may find something useful.

Vietcong: The people really seem to follow closely this Vietnam conflict and in Chile specifically the cause of the Vietcong seems to resonate with the people, we may try and intervene there, partly due to gain some image, partly to give a message, but mainly because I believe we may find useful things deep within the jungle.

Mongolian Migration: I'm even surprised you'd even wondered about what's the deal with Mongolia, truth be told, the Chinese Apocalypse shouldn't have affected them, yet anyways, though if whatever happened in Tierra del Fuego is anything to go by, I doubt the people there are faring too well anyways.

Pahit Dictatoriat: I wouldn't blame you if you didn't know this, but yes, there's a reason for this massive uprising in Indonesia, simply said, the government there does do some nasty things in the name of fighting communism, and you should know all too well communism often has a vague meaning, I can't begin to imagine what horrors may be happening there for such a violent response from part of the populace.

Inkarri Theocracy: Oh yes, Bolivia and this new Inca Empire. You may wonder what's our big business there, well, I guess it's important for you to know this. They are hiding big stuff, big, really important stuff, it may be the answer for our problems, and our trump card in this war against the inevitable, that's why we must scour their territory, quickly and thoroughly.

MIR: It wasn't too much of a surprise that there was a resistance movement to the occupation even before we made our appearance, what is a surprise is that they do have an extensive network of contacts throughout the continent, I'm pretty sure this'll prove a nice addition to our arsenal, let's just keep pulling the strings here and there and you'll see how they'll accomplish most of our goals without us even lifting a finger.

The Network: There's always enthusiast for the paranormal and the unknown, that shouldn't be bad in and on itself, Cyberfolk unfortunately has proven to be a way too good method to get them all together and working towards a single goal, and I fear that they may uncover a few things that may make our operations... difficult. I believe we should deal with this group, but it's not prioritary and shouldn't be done too abruptly, that'd be a cause for suspicion all in of itself.

Phoenix Front: This is disturbing. These problems in Ireland are caused by this Syndicate, long before they should have even been a problem at all. But this could be used to our advantage, as this new force in Ireland could help us distract the Allies from our own actions.

Arabian Coalition: It's no surprise that the Allied Nations have keen interest in this Arabian conflict, most of the oil reserves of the world are located there after all, what's more surprising is that it seems they are losing the battle, I still don't believe we have too many stakes in this conflict, but I still feel some morbid curiosity in regards to it.

Arabian Socialist Government: It should be said that, despite us not having much business dealing there, if the Soviet Union, or the communist bloc in general, manages to get the upper hand on the Middle East, it'd prove plenty beneficial to us, we're still Allies after all, at least nominally, and having easy access to most of the Oil Reserves of the world will be a blessing come the draining of our reserves in the Patagonia.

Ukrazol Ecumene

Nxikala Trivix is head of Xenological studies in the Ukrazol Jovian Fleet, and a right hand man for Orluk, second in command of the fleet to Arakrast the senior councillor of the fleet and affectionately dubbed “Axa Xulla”, or “my leader.” The following are reports acquired by the Talon rogues from a downed Ecumene forward ship:

Allied Nations: The polity referred to internally as the Allied Nations and assorted translations of thereof was formed in response to conflict with the Soviet Union The polity operates under the clearly outmoded method of governance referred to as Democracy where disorder is allowed to ferment through anarchic means of “snout counting” to elect rulers. Scientific advancements and cultural quirks include: Temporal manipulation, Four dimensional space alteration, repeated usage of gravitonic manipulation, weaponization of quantum physics, inferior chemical based medications, and non-lethal cryogenics. Though clearly barbaric in their ideology, the Allied Nations have demonstrated a number of scientific advancements useful to the Ecumene and demonstrate a high potential to be the leading auxiliary in future assimilation. A swift tendril applied to the necks of their core members should lead to their capitulation, along with playing up our opposition to their foes' ideologies, the American question can be given a final solution of ensuring its political disintegration.

Confederate Revolutionaries: The pseudo-polity referred to as the Confederate revolutionaries is a band of discontented citizens of the nations of the Allies, primarily focused in the nation referred to as the United States of America. The Confederate Revolutionaries are both technologically and politically insignificant. The only innovations of significant interest are a cloaking system and drills that would appear to violate the laws of conservation, the former; while interesting, has numerous alternative sources, and the latter is provided in superior format by the Talon and is not substantially necessary due to our lack of issues with power generation. Their conflict with the Allies however, leaves a substantial deal of salvage worth apprehending. I would also recommend crushing them once we prepare the world for assimilation. Until then two things they do offer is ample livestock to devour and a chance to train soldiers against guerrilla forces.

Soviet Union:: The polity known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (and assorted ideological allies) operates under an an ideology known as Communism, proposed by a philosopher from the prior century. Heavily reliant on ideological advancement for global spread of beliefs through a straight forward army heavily reliant on brute force and massive production and recruitment advantages. The current head of statehead of state is Nikolai Podgorny and the current head of government is Clemt Davidova. I am of the opinion that like all such "Communists" they can never know the winds. I would advise a purge of their identity so that they can be replaced with less savage people.

Empire Of The Rising Sun: Easily one of the most interesting factions by every metric. While we share a basis in nanotechnology, computer science, and kinetic accelerants, they have taken Plasma to fields we have not considered, and have somehow managed to make usage of Tachyonic matter, which was once believed to be beyond our technological reach, let alone that of a one planet civilization. If it would please you and my superiors, I would state that I do not believe that they can be fully assimilated without crushing them entirely. Their likelihood of functioning as Auxilaries for our future governance of Earth is questionable however. While we can respect their veneration for their royal family, it is unlikely that it would accept vassalization due to reasons of pride and belief in the divinity of the family.

Atomic Kingdom Of China: The title is rather confusing I will admit. The Head of State is a nonexistent Emperor, and no one with the title “King” exists in this state, with actual power lying in the so called “Viceroy” of whom we can gather little information about. Formed out of the strongest faction of the survivors of the traumatic discovery of weaponizable nuclear material, this polity is rapidly constructing a slower than light space fleet capable of carrying millions, leading to us theorizing that they plan to evacuate the world. Given the nature of who brings the material that they utilize so heavily, this is understandable, we have done the same in the face of the arrival of the material on our worlds. However, the material is in an early stage, perhaps now we can find a way to exploit it and finally fight back against them rather than flee. Already this polity utilizes mass cloning, three dimensional printing, highly radioactive directed energy weapons, crude bio-engineering, nuclear weaponry, and even anti-matter in small amounts. From what we gather, their culture is a proud one with a strong superiority complex, and we have been in a state of intense state of conflict with them since their formation to acquire their technology. They are aware of us, and so will need to be dealt with in time. But perhaps we can turn them to our side? Their dream is easy enough for us to grant them.

Mediterranean Syndicate: Corporations are easy for us to understand, so there is little mystery behind their motivations. The Syndicate overall offers little to us in terms of technology, magnetic mass accelerators, cybernetics, largely unsafe drugs, power armor, and computer science are their primary fields of interest. We do not see much need for any of this, though their Zero Point energy is of considerable interest. Analysis indicates that the Syndicate would be likely to accept Auxiliary status to the Ecumene so long as we allowed them to continue to accumulate capital and integrate favorably into our corporate structure. This love and value of money and strong self preservation instinct will mean that they will gladly sell out their species if we make it apparent that we are the new paradigm. I recommend cutting them a deal, preferably not long after we auxiliarize the Allied Nations.

Order of the Talon: The Order of the Talon has been a thorn in our side since our arrival to their planet. Despite their seemingly massively obsolete technology, their tenacity, material science, and resourcefulness have allowed them to continue to fight us on far more even terms than we would have liked even as we made upgrades of our own. Our analysis indicates that this “polity” is small numerically, but carries a disproportionate level of influence through it’s extremely powerful intelligence network. For all our clandestine clashes, their threat is not a military one, if we truly dedicated ourselves to it, I have little doubt that we would scour them from history. It is that they can subtly prepare the less astute powers against our influence, and that they can try to worm their way into our fleet and spread their religiously charged ideals. I think we will have our reckoning with them; then we will see if their "Yahweh" is a match for great Ullalloo the Stormbringer and one God of all that is good.

Electrical Protectorate: This polity, if one could call it that, is troubling. Perhaps more than any other force that operates on this world they defy our understanding, with many examples of their science not even having counterparts among our enemies. They bend dimensions and call forth energies we have no names for, they bring forth things we never conceived of as possible. They do not act with motivations we can decipher, and they churn out increasingly more frightful technology at an incredible rate. They are of course, unshackled A.Is and as such must be destroyed or reprogrammed on principle, but for all of our conflict with them we still do not truly understand them. Theirs is a menace that can only grow exponentially, and if uncontained they will present an existential threat to the Ecumene. Allowing them off world would be, unadvisable.

African League: As the name suggests, this polity’s goals are to unite their continental mass under a single polity independent of outside meddling. This goal is opposed by the numerous groups with interests in the region. Some make their opposition known through violent force, namely the “Greater Indian Commonwealth” and the “Mediterranean Syndicate”, others through condemnations, and the Protectorate opposes them for having the misfortune of sharing space with them. Their goals are ultimately localized to their continent and anything that would directly affect it, and their strong anti-imperialist bent precludes them from ever accepting the our rule as the higher beings. So we will have to strangle their dreams of freedom as it hatches. In the mean time, we should continue to look into their mutagenic chemicals and elaborate usages of carbon lattices.

Technocratic Combine: An interesting if incredibly deluded polity that runs on ideological nonsense and contradictory positions that are supported only by faith. The superficial similarities of their Technocracy and our Meritocracy are precisely that, superficial. They are no more us than an addled neophyte imitating an adult is an adult. That being said they have perhaps the most thorough understanding of biology on their planet despite not knowing more than the basics of genetic coding, and they are beginning to tamper in additional dimensions of reality as part of their science. It would be best to break them thoroughly before attempting to integrate them and let them feel the sacred breeze.

Industrial Guild: The guild is largely irrelevant save for that it does possess the reach to extend its meddling beyond its shores should it manage to defeat the Pahit Dictatoriat, and it has the Industrial ability to potentially threaten our designs and is overly receptive to Communism, working under a variant ideology of Communism referred to as Anarcho-Syndicalism. The recommendation is simple; orbital and ground based purgation as necessary of the unruly population to cow the survivors into noninterference. They do not deserve the winds and storms of civilization; forever lost they are to the doldrums of savagery.

Southern Contingent: The Contingent possesses only a moderate amount of materials of worth, namely that it possesses non-cavorite based gravitational manipulation systems. Otherwise it lacks manpower and global military reach. However, it continues to engage in skirmishes with out forces; especially in the transit from the Earth's orbit into its atmosphere, resulting in intriguing if annoying conflicts with this otherwise unimportant power. To deal with it, we should simply annihilate their upper atmospheric craft and then quickly level their few urban population centers. The survivors will be too few to work against us as we can extract what we wish from the corpse of their nation.

American Unionists: A paramilitary force connected to the "United States of America", one of the larger and more powerful individual nations on this planet and the single most economically productive member of the Allied Nations barring the possible example of the Commonwealth. Built with the express intent of dealing with Communist subversion and providing a homeland defense beyond existing military apparatuses, the primary thing of interest among the Unionists is that they have taken Post-Hypnotic Suggestion to heights once dismissed by our Psychologists and Neurologists as the realm of science fiction. However, the ideology of the Unionists is highly compatible with our own, and their military is backwards enough to make them of dubious threat to us. I believe that they can be reasoned with as kindred to us, and that they can be given a place in our hierarchy.

Greater Indian Commonwealth: The Commonwealth has no other asset but numbers my Xulla. All of the technology it has developed on its own is primitive and designed for maximum cheapness both in short term production costs and long term maintenance, and all of it has been made with a population that is still not universally literate in mind. Their soldiers are perhaps the most cowardly on this planet, breaking and routing quite easily when the battle goes against them as even the conscripts and militants of the Soviets and the Global Liberation Army respectively have more equipment to their name and more fire in their vascular pumps. The one thing we need truly fear from them is their great skill at reverse engineering, in but a matter of months of contact with the Atomic Kingdom they have already spat back the Chinese's own technology back at them and other select enemies who won't report their violations of the Allies' rules of war. However, the Commonwealth is a fortress built on clay. Its economy precariously hangs before financial oblivion requiring constant expansion, and its vast population is largely poor and hungry. Kicking out its foundations of agriculture should rapidly depopulate vast swathes of the "Commonwealth" and leave them begging for our civilization.

Cybernetic Federation: The Federation is part of the Communist bloc and is allied to the Soviet and assorted satellite states. Though technologically crude, this direct democratic socialist state has managed to create a surprisingly sophisticated network of communication that binds all forty million of its citizenry effectively together. Unable to amass a proper fleet of armored fighting vehicles, it has resorted to armoring and arming a fleet of civilian or tremendously obsolete (or both) vehicles to make up for its deficiency in ground warfare, and applied a simplistic if effective method of remote control. The Federation however, appears more aware of our movements and intention than it should be. Often we find soldiers trained in tactics eerily well suited against our own and a layer of preparedness best suited to our method of warfare. The initial theories that this was done in preparation for Atomic China do not hold to scrutiny. This is curious. I recommend investigation, but currently heavily pouring our efforts against them when their power is so limited would be a poor maneuver, it should wait for .

Ukrazol Ecumene: Are we not blessed by Ullalloo with mastery of the winds of civilization? Is it not our quest to spread our philosophy of enlightenment and reason to all the corners of the galaxy and beyond and fight the darkness of Sar'Makh and their wicked doldrums of savagery? It is our destiny to acquire knowledge for the greatness of our nation and to bring civilization to the uncivilized and to ensure that all are in their natural, civilized order so that society may benefit from the meritous without the chains of the unworthy. The Ecumene is efficient, it is united, it applies its rules fairly and swiftly and the people within it are happy. Our economy and the bounds of our knowledge always continue to grow, and by every metric of a successful civilization we remain the beacon of progress to all civilizations. The humans shall be made to understand this, we shall both extract what is useful from them and save them from themselves.

MINOR FACTION RELATIONSHIPS:

ARVN: The Southern Half of the Vietnamese people are of precious little consequence to us. They have no interesting technology or ideology and we find little of interest in their culture. Our dealings with them primarily are done to get at the Allied Peacekeepers they lean on. Other than a proclivity for napalm and toxic defoliants they don't show any tactical innovations of note. Putting resources into defeating them would be a waste.

Allied Reservists: Whereas the Allied Peacekeepers possess numerous examples of high technology, the Allied Reservists are disappointingly conventional with little to nothing of technological interest. As they are simply another branch of the Allied military, the methods of dealing with them remain the same as dealing with the Peacekeepers. Notably, they are also the overwhelming bulk of the Allied military, showing that the Allies do not have the economic muscle to equip their military to an equal standard.

NRA: As our predictions estimated my Xulla, the Chinese civil war culminated in the essential annihilation of both factions as cohesive entities despite Chiang-Kai-Sek's tremendous incompetence as a statesman and a military leader due to their dogged insistence on holding the line by any means. Though they developed a great many of the technologies utilized by the Green Chinese, their successors have surpassed them in most of the ways that matter. Their primary use is for providing first hand experience against the heavily defensive oriented tactics of the Green Chinese as well as taking what little they have to offer. However, it would seem my Xulla; that many of them are so lost to madness or apathy that they are willing to fight for us so long as we offer them payment. Some of the Amarani use them to help guard our installations in the Chinese wasteland and I don't recommend curtailing this practice.

Cult of the Black Hand: While cells matching the description of this cult are found worldwide, this nuisance in our abdomens has plagued us since we first arrived and we still know scarcely more about them now than we did decades ago when we first came to this planet. They are a reclusive, shadowy lot that appears to delight in terror and mayhem and the most we can determine is that they concentrate most strongly in the nation known as Yugoslavia. Other than that, their history, motives, and most of their movements remains unknown to us my Xulla. At the very least, they are not as militarily capable as the Talon nor do they seem as dogmatically opposed to us as what we gather to be their mortal foes.

GLA: The Global Liberation Army is primarily a nuisance whose engagements with our forces are largely incidental my Xulla; usually focusing around our livestock harvesting, interrogation abduction, and anti-Talon operations as they have no technology worth studying. In our engagements we have found that they are brave, but stupid. While canny guerilla fighters and certainly zealous warriors, they have difficulties functioning as an army and are almost completely incapable of acting as a single organization with a singular will. However, when competently lead and hardened by a core of experienced veterans they can be very challenging opponents. However like all pests they will be washed away when the time comes, I have no doubts that we will smash them.

International Inc: This corporate entity is entirely meaningless to us beyond it's capacity to funnel support to potential adversaries during our observation process and later colonization preparations. Whether you and my other superiors decide to crush them or use them; both will have my ultimate support.

Communist China: The hatchmate of Nationalist China; the Premier of Communist China Mau Tse Tsung took a splinter group of the Kuomintang that overthrew the prior dynasty of China and declared them to be counter-revolutionaries. What followed was a long, pointless period of bloodshed over what manner of small minded autocrat would rule over a country still deeply mired in poverty and backwardsness. The Red Chinese emphasize massed offense with huge numbers of disposable or simple to use assets, essentially the polar opposite of their extremely defensively minded and substantially more elitist Blue Chinese counterparts. Thanks to their cloning technology and their possession of some remaining factories; they still practice these mass tactics despite the depopulation of their country. They are both an opportunity to bloody the troops in preparation of similar but more capable opponents, and are also often willing mercenaries who gladly throw themselves into the fray for resources. A pity that they are savages though.

Vietcong: The Vietcong and their North Vietnamese masters have little to no technology or cultural artefacts worth appreciating and they are at the end of the day, savages. They do however draw attention from the Allies that allows us to secretly engage Allied forces in the region and steal their far more interesting technology and provide convenient opponents to train soldiers in counter insurgency.

Mongolian Migration: A minor Nuisance that mostly serves to hamper our efforts in harvesting technology from the Protectorate and Kingdom. If they truly bother you and your fellow superiors, dear Xulla I would recommend targeting their food supplies. There are not very many of them and they would likely buckle under the threat of starvation.

Pahit Dictatoriat: A polity formed out of fear of Communism and in opposition to the Empire of the Rising Sun's occupation of their territory. This polity is noted for its extreme brutality in its methods of suppressing dissent and eliminating unwanted ideologies. Given the pressures placed against it by the Industrial Guild and its lack of popularity among its neighbors, its future demise is all but guaranteed. I would not concern yourselves against them in any fashion beyond a convenient target to train recruits against, there might be some merit in rescuing it.

Inkarri Theocracy: That the Theocracy is protecting something it does not want revealed to the rest of the world is undeniable. There is little other explanation for their capacity to manipulate plate tectonics on such a scale despite their lack of infrastructure. Such secrets, must of course be extracted from them; if such a course of action would please my Superiors. Being able to manipulate geology without extensive machinery would be a great boon. Unfortunately it seems that the Syndicate, Allies, Federation, Network, and Combine and by extent the Soviets and MIR in their ties to the Federation, are all aware that they are hiding something beyond their polytheistic rhetoric.

MIR: That bunch of desperate peasants and workers throwing themselves against their betters over perceived slights? Surely there are not more important people to focus on; if my superiors will permit me to raise concerns? If you must ask for my opinion, the MIR are largely irrelevant save for that they can sometimes cause friction in our more important operations as they spring from the ground like vermin. Their technology is pitiful; with the bulk of them not having so much as pistols, and so they rely on weight of numbers. At best I can say they are target practice, at worst I can say they are grievously annoying with their devotion to Communism, we will have to purge them like all savage in the end.

The Network: My Xulla and fellow Superiors, as requested I have delivered you my report on the organization referred to as “the Network.” The Network blindly flails about in the darkness like a Vol'rukh, hoping for knowledge it cannot possibly understand and secrets that would utterly destroy it. In their quest for knowledge, they represent a potential threat should they make their mark and attempt to reveal us to those actually competent. I recommend that we encourage their annihilation and dissolution by any means. We will need to crush them sooner or later.

Phoenix Front: A faction of minor interest, Xulla and fellow Superiors. They seem to have allied themselves with Communism, but they refuse to actually fall before it so they are perhaps, not completely savage. Their technology is of little consequence, but they appear to have a marked tendency to create their own happiness when they have little else. Perhaps their culture can be brought to our own. If not, wipe them away with little consequence.

Arabian Coalition: A collection of inbred dynasties clinging to power in artificial countries my Xulla and fellow superiors. Their primary asset is their petrochemical bought wealth that still cannot seem to buy them good soldiers as their armies conduct themselves with the grace of drunken juvenile Drakuls during mating season. Their armies are well equipped but poorly trained and ill disciplined and their ability to handle changing situations is comical. The main interest in them would be striking at them to paralyze other factions dependent on petrocehmicals, but otherwise? Hardly worth the bother really, the majority of our engagements remain largely incidental; with their units being deployed in the wrong place at the wrong time. One of their members, the Kingdom of Jordan however, not only has markedly different religious makeup compared to its counterparts but also houses remarkable Talon activity.

Arabian Socialist Government: Much like their southern neighbors, these devotees of Communism are largely unimportant my superiors, though of course we will need to correct their barbarism. Like them, their main asset is abundance in petrochemical resources and like them, I would not recommend any offensive strikes beyond what is needed to paralyze other petrochemical dependent states. Like the Coalition, they also appear to harbor a large concentration of the Talon, focused in the southern part of Syria and the tiny nation of Lebanon. And it would seem that they are so unaware of the Talon's presence that they don't even suspect that they are there.

Soviet Union: The Soviets pressed us into their folds, and then promptly forgot about us. It's happened before, certainly, but you'd think they would notice the invasion of the clones. We certainly aren't going to ask them for help again.

Empire Of The Rising Sun: The Empire is the only explanation for these robots. Remember that big bot they used to stomp out Odessa? There is no way these robots are anything but Empire-made. I just can't figure out why they left Mongolia untouched last time and are now aiming for us.

The following are excerpts from a MIR-aligned newspaper, "Verdad", transcribed when a Dalit purchased one for 1 peso.

Allied Nations: "The great oppressor! The Allies say they are a force of progress, but these liberal social democrats simply serve to insidiously placate the workers and peasants with table scraps while the bourgeois continues to oppress us and exploit our labor! Don't listen to their claims that they are an eagle spreading freedom and enlightenment, for their bogus liberal democracy is an easily bought and swayed tool to ensure that the real powers that be, their bourgeois masters; are never threatened by the specter of true democracy, a socialist democracy where all are truly equal and all are truly free! Where the machines made by science serve to free more of our days for our own time, rather than worry if their latest contraption will leave you begging for hand outs! Never forget, true change will not come from above, it will only come when we take it, peacefully if we can, forcefully when we must! Arise comrades! Strike down their blue bird of prey and raise the red banner of freedom high!"

Confederate Revolutionaries: "The Confederates have arisen because they tire of the yoke of the Allies, of their soldiers dying for causes not their own and their labor being turned towards furthering the Allied war machine! It is still a bourgeois revolution, however, one that can't decide if it wishes to rip away the concessions the Allies' social democracy has given them in the name of capitalism or it it thinks they haven't gone far enough! But already the spark of true proletarian revolution arises, and we should help them find that spark so that the great oligarch fortress may fall down and be replaced with a union of socialist republics!"

Soviet Union:: "The vanguards of the world revolution have long been freed of weakness and re-embraced the spirit of the cause of Marx, Engels, Trotsky and Lenin. With Davidova's leadership of the Comintern, the cause of world revolution has never burned brighter. Bastion after bastion of capitalism crumbles or lies under siege as the established socialist countries spread our fire to every nation. They have given us aid so that we may free ourselves from the chains of the bourgeoisie, now we shall do everything we can to repay that debt by raising the hammer and sickle high wherever we can, whenever we can!"

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "The Empire of the Rising Sun is a land of capitalist decadence and the iron fist of the far-right. They are anathema to the people's cause, a reactionary land worshiping their monarch as a god when he is just as much a man as you and I, where obsolete gender traditions enslave and shackle our proletarian sisters, where corporations wed themselves to the state to exploit the working classes without limit, where despite having the science to have all their citizens live a life without toil thanks to their robots, people still kill themselves working in droves because they fear what will happen now that they've reached the end of the line of bourgeois industrial development! But worry not, the fire and spirit of world revolution will soon slay the imperial demon forever and their science will help all of us rather than the elite!"

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "Born from the ashes of the atomic bombs, these Atomic Chinese are a reactionary menace who while cloaked in mystery, are plainly driven by nationalistic masters who hope to drive the world to the funeral pyre in anger! The only cure for jingoistic hate is Communist revolution, comrades; they may have been born from a cataclysmic fire, but even they cannot escape the inevitable march of the historical dialectic!"

Mediterranean Syndicate: "This is what capitalism in its fullest bloat and decay looks like, comrade! The fat cats who oppress, enslave, exploit and beholden you to the almighty lira in the Americas are the very face of the tyranny that Marx, Engels, and so many others warned us about and what we must slay! The masters of this system who cloister themselves in fortresses of neon and silicon, surrounding themselves with their beloved lucre that they may escape the wrath of the Proletariat! But their efforts are futile and we will break their chains of oppression! Every farmer, worker, adult and child shall be free and we shall make their technology tools of the people rather than weapons of slavery! Arise comrades, for we shall break the invisible hand of their 'free market' once and for all!"

Order of the Talon: "Many have misinterpreted what Marx meant by religion being the opium of the masses. This does not mean that religion is something to be destroyed, but it is what we turn to to comfort ourselves in times of pain. Look no further to the policies of Jesus; these are not policies that capitalists would espouse, but those that proto-communists would find peace in. Never forget, Jesus Himself was a socialist, driving away the bourgeoisie money-changers from the temple, with His theology being one of liberation instead of oppression!"

Electrical Protectorate: "There are tales of machine men stalking the dark corners of the Earth, that they are the reason why lands such as the Guyanas have gone silent. However, if they were real, then these machine men might be our greatest hope yet against the Imperials, possibly due to the fact that they have turned on their corrupt masters as well! Hearken to our words, comrades, for the demons will eventually perish when we man and machine unite to triumph over the reactionary threat!"

The Network

Sarah Rodman is a Network shortwave radio broadcaster nicknamed "Trailer Trash Tara" by the Unionists and "The Advocate" by the Network, believed to be part of the organization's inner circle. The following are choice passages from her article in the Interweb omnibus, Advopedia, transcribed by a lesser-known African hacker (identity unknown):

Allied Nations: “The Allied Nations aren’t a natural entity, sisters. They’re a one world order in the making, created out of an unholy alliance between secret governmental leaders and Stalin’s cabinet in the staged conflict that was World War Two. And for those that insist they’re a global force for good, let me ask you this: why have they reacted so strongly to the United States breaking away from their alliance, if not to prevent the recovery of their secret correspondence with the Soviets detailing their scheme? Why have they tried to spread their insidious culture of Westernized neo-communalism to all corners of the globe, if not to further the spread of their secret masters' influence? Look closely at their uniforms...can you not make out the faint symbol of the yantra, a symbol of their secret masters meant to communicate their spread throughout the universe? Be wary of the Allies...their pawns may know not what they do, but their kings and queens do!"

Confederate Revolutionaries: “It’s a rebellion by the ordinary folks against the one world order, sisters! Even if some of them don’t see the whole truth of how much we’ve been lied to and deceived throughout the centuries, they’re still fighting for the rights of the Davids against the Goliaths, and making it clear our words cannot be silenced! Now sure, maybe there’s some things going on that aren’t all on board. I know as well as you, sisters, about the oil wells to hell in Texas and the swamp uprisings in Mississippi that the ‘Federals ain’t keen on talking about. But we can’t let up on these folks fighting against darkness because they need us, as much as we need them. Without us they’d be the blind leading the blind, so don’t give up faith, gals...we've gotta be their eyes in these dark times.”

Soviet Union:: “The Reds are as bad as they’ve always been, sisters, but they’ve been worse in the past. It’s the curse of the conspiracy, you see - there’s all these groups and they all want power, but they have to get past each other first. So they roll over the ordinary folks of the world to get to the other groups, and then they slug it out until only one remains. Look at Stalin, sisters. A monster of a man whose cabinet conspired with Allied leadership to start World War Two to make the Soviet Union the world’s second superpower, and what happened with him? He got taken out by Cherdenko, the super-psychic! And now that his mind’s been teleported back to his backup clone on the moon, we have Davidova in charge. Don’t get me wrong folks, the Communists are Communutty in the head, and there’s still all kinds of secret groups hiding out behind the Iron Curtain plotting against all the decent peoples of the world. I wouldn’t trust Ivan Vodkinsky any farther than I could throw him, but I’ll be darned if things weren’t starting to look up slightly in that dismal place!”

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "Our war with the Empire isn't over yet, girls. It's so darn obvious; don't you see how the Allies gifted Yoshiro a 50-foot dummy replica of that big robot in Odessa so they can destroy the city? Guess what, it's not really destroyed; the entire battle was directed, produced, and filmed entirely on set! Those victims of the alleged 'razing of Odessa'? They're all paid extras, acting for that piece-of-trash Empire show to break the spirit of the West! Speaking of entertainment, you ever notice how children, teenagers and even adults particularly in the West seem to be obsessed with their cartoons, geeking out on giant robots, 'magical girls', same-sex relationships and sickeningly-cute little children? It's a plot, I tell you, a plot to reduce the Western world to the degree where we stop acting like normal persons, forcing us to isolate ourselves from the outside world with their shows, comics, and games, irritatingly begging 'senpai' to notice us! Those unintelligible characters in their products? They're hidden markings placed by the Allied-Empire axis capable of bringing us to psychic brainwashing! And what's not to speak of their body pillows, specifically designed to make us lose interest in love and sex with humans, forcing us to lust for our 'waifus' and 'husbandos' instead? I surely hope my senpai Third Eye would notice me today, because when I don't spend my time sleeping with my Third Eye pillows and watching Flying Girl Azami, I'm done a fine job exposing Japanese subversion of the West today!"

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "The whole world populace of 3.6 billion are soon in the trip to massive atomic oblivion, sisters! Face it, we're too embroiled in our own wars in the Middle East, America and Vietnam because that's exactly what the Allied fascist Soviet commie one world order wants us to be! They plotted us to turn away from the Western invasion of Chinese 'refugees' - or I dare say them, Atomic Kingdom advance scouts prepping the way for Satanic clones and Ahriman's bombs to destroy the lands of the free from the inside! Ever wonder how those Chinese 'survivors' look and act alike, and know a bit too much about what happened when the bombs were dropped in their country? They all act confused about the local culture and customs as well, could it be that these unfamiliar conditions are messing their mental programming so bad? I tell you, these are the bombs we should duck and cover from, not those that we should stop worrying about and love instead!"

Mediterranean Syndicate: “Sisters of the world, we face a grave threat. All across the surface of this little blue Earth we have seen the rise of the so-called ‘Sprawls’, enormous superurban centers filled with malcontents, druggies, gangsters, and punks! Normal people flock to these centers, where they are transformed into hedonists and anarchists whose only goals in life are to gain as much money as possible and then to spend it all. And behind them are numerous corporations and companies that squat in the Sprawls like toads, encouraging the decline and the corruption of the youth solely to line their pockets! And its the corporations that are the real deal, you mark my words. Why do you think they built those Sprawls where they did, if not because they’re the sites of ancient Hellmouths? They’re tapping the leylines of ancient evils to fuel their corporate greed, and that’s why we gotta fight them! Buy American, buy Technocratic, buy African, buy local, or don’t buy at all!”

Order of the Talon: "You know what, sisters? The Order guys are actually doing a fine job of resisting and combating the evils of the Syndicate scorpions, also they're the only power that does something about the unholy influence these scorpions have to the rest of humanity! But there's only one thing I don't approve of them; the fact that they prefer to fight in the shadows instead of fighting publicly for the world to see. Look at them, sisters; their metal soldiers wield flaming swords and steam cannons and yet they don't use them to arm the people so we can drive the scorpions out of town! Plus, why do they have to resort to the same tricks of the Scorpion like manipulating the common man to further their agenda when they can just face them head-on? I don't wanna admit, sisters, but maybe I'm looking at this wrong, sisters; what if this is all controlled opposition, meaning they're not actually against each other, but rather common allies? What does this mean for the world, now that these two groups might be in fact controlling our leaders for some goal we don't even know about?"

Electrical Protectorate: “This is a big ol’ world of ours we live in, and there’s all sorts of things creeping around that nobody knows about. Think about how much of the ocean we haven’t seen, how many glaciers we haven’t climbed, how many forests and jungles we haven’t been able to fully explore! But yet you still get those scientists with their fancy degrees going on the teevee and saying, ‘there's no such thing as sasquatches or firebirds, they're all myths and folk stories, no evidence for their existence!’, like they know all there is. Well I call hookum on their degrees, because they clearly learned how to go to school so hard they forgot how to use their brains! When we got multiple, verified stories from people around the world about the ‘purple robots with the unblinking eyes’, do you think they’re lying? That their brains didn’t see what their own eyes told them? Because I know that if I see something, I darn well see it! With this many sightings, those robots have got to be real, and if it's out there we can find it!”

African League: "Medgar Evers and Malcolm X are sure darn proud today to see our African brothers and sisters resist the shackles laid by the corrupt, colonialist Allied-Syndicate-CIA cabal for decades, sisters! But there's just something iffy about what this League is up to nowadays, I tell you; have you went to Lagos, Luanda and Burkina Faso and noticed the glittering and shimmering crystal palaces in them? It's not everyday you see Africans rolling around with gem-encrusted cars with gem-encrusted canes wearing snazzy, gem-encrusted clothes; you'd think they'd be part-crystal already! And that's exactly what went down in the continent, sisters! To take down the corporatist regime, their leaders have made pacts with gemstone-esque extraterrestrials to grant them powers of mineral manipulation! And you're gonna ask me; 'is that a bad thing?' Well, we still don't know what those crystal beings want, if they want to help the world or stomp it under their diamond-lined boots! But know this, sisters, if we can only win the hearts and minds of the African people, surely we can mind the alien hearts and minds of the crystal beings as well! And darn straight the multinational totalitarian government is already creaking in their boots by the thought of us having unearthly help!"

Technocratic Combine: “Now I’m not saying that the Technocrats don’t have dirt on them. For all their words and all their information they’re hiding things because that's what power does to you girls, it gets into your head and it makes you separate from the little people, makes you need to hide things and lie to preserve your power. But aside from the ‘Federals, these gals are the closest people we’ve got that recognize what we’re saying, that the truth has got to be free! They’re working for the truth too, even if they’re on the wrong path towards it. There’s things they ain’t telling us to be sure, like their expeditions into those ancient pyramids in the Amazon and where they’re storing all those recovered crystal alien skeletons, but I can tell you this... they’re telling us a lot more than some of these other folks!”

American Unionists: "There was this one time I visited my cousin living at Trenton, New Jersey. Poor guy had to lock his windows and doors, saying that his neighbors are out for him due to "communist sympathies" all because he read some lines from our tracts and Orwell's 1984. And what did our occupying government do to him? Took him away to some facility to be done God-knows-what terrible things! Worse, there's even my fellow folks who think I'm nutty to throw my lot to the Rebs! Sisters, if anyone here's experiencing what I'm also experiencing, tell your family this: 'Do you really want to align yourself with a hostile entity not giving a lick about your civil liberties and freedoms? Where cognitive liberty is a crime, and to be guilty of a single thoughtcrime warrants a trip to Room 101? Where our Constitution is literally being spit on by these bogus 'patriots'? Are you really up with sacrificing your being, your identity, and your free thought to the Unionist consortium?!' If so, then those filthy subliminal messages have already mangled their brain wiring so bad they're already bending over to their authoritarian thugs! Sisters, don't let these things happen to you? Keep in mind that it's your damn brain, and you shouldn't let anyone change it!"

Greater Indian Commonwealth: "Sisters, colonialism's been pretty brutal and all, and I have my sympathies with the Indians and all.. but I tell you, sisters, the Indians have been messed up by the Allies so hard that they've gone and do the same thing to Pakistan, to Yemen, to Ethiopia, before they move on to the rest of the world! Their entire fights with the GLA, or their Group of Lunatic Allies as I say it, are nothing but part of their smoke-and-mirrors routine to distract us while they spawn the vile fiends of Ravana to assist them in their global domination! I leave you this: nobody can convince me that the Commonwealth did not hire GLA rebels with GLA loyalties to hunt down and kill innocent civilians to give 'emselves a mandate to go over, 'fight them' and invade the Middle East and the rest of the world, just as they have planned!"

Cybernetic Federation: “There’s something rotten going down in South America, sisters. Not ten years ago, these Technocrats start appearing and the whole place gets thrown into chaos, and then only a year after they finally settle down and these Cybercrats appear on the scene with their own futurist nonsense? Governments don’t just rise up like that, one after the other, not without something going on behind the velvet gloves. But at least the Technocrats are open about the stuff they’re trying to do - you ever try to actually *enter* Argentina, sisters? You ever notice how everything just seems to work so perfectly, even the people? How they always act so calm and collected, until you start asking how they work and then they just start staring at you without blinking? Maybe they think their act is working, but we know the truth, folks! Behind their masks there is nothing but reptilian malice and the desire to enslave us all to their mind-machines, that they may sail their mental ships back to the stars! Stay safe folks if you’re in the area...once you get south of Bolivia, the reptiles start taking over.”

Ukrazol Ecumene: “Sisters, we’re not alone in this big old universe. There’s billions of galaxies all with billions of stars. And some would have us believe that none of them have planets with life advanced enough to meet us. But phooey to that. Do the math, there’s no way there aren’t civilizations capable of meeting us. But the question is sisters, what do they want? Well, you all know the tales, people being taken up into big old flying saucers, cattle being mutilated like someone chowed down on it, weird lights in the sky, and whole army units or bases disappearing. Whatever they want to do, sisters, they ain’t friendly. Why, some even say that our leader, the dear Third Eye, was taken by them as a child before they made a daring escape and decided to reveal the truth to all. If you ask me, they’re clearly watching over us, their guinea pigs, like scientists poking at a petri dish, trying to see if we’ve developed along the paths they want us to so they can harvest conclusions from us right and proper. But take it from me sisters, don’t let the men from Mars win. Their weapon is secrecy; so spread the word everywhere you can!”

Cult of the Black Hand: "*sigh* For them, well... I've got nothing. Not that I've got no clue about what they are; it's just... there are not enough negative words in a thesaurus to describe this cult. So, let me ask you a question instead: ever noticed the bad stuff that's happening in the world? Like RFK's shooting? The Great Fire of London? The fact that somebody thought Manos: The Hands of Fate was a good idea? Don't you think that they have to be connected in a way the common man will not understand? Well, let me tell you something, sisters; they have always been connected, all concocted and enacted by these unholy cabalists! Anybody else who denies this is either lying or is brainwashed by the Black Hand! The worst part? They've got hooks over the international media to keep discrediting us True Believers at the front of the sheeple, making the Network look like fools so no one will know the truth! Small wonder why the hawk-men keep burning these Satanists everywhere they see; even they believe that the world is better off without these crooks! So, if we want to make the world a better place, let us fight these bastards and make sure they're erased!"

GLA: "I actually feel bad for the Arabs; always downtrodden by Allied and Soviet oppression, and then when some of them rightfully lash back at them like our own Confederates, they get branded as terrorists! Now, hear me out, I'm not saying they're not, you know, actual terrorists, it's just many of these well-meaning freedom fighters keep being overshadowed by those monsters who rape, pillage and burn innocent people in no particular order. In fact, many of these leaders actually lend their services to the same government and corporate overlords their fellowmen have to fight! Shouldn't we think that the Allies and the corporations are paying these traitors to make the entire Liberation Army look bad? So, maybe we can still save some of these good-hearted rebels from the Zionist steam knights, and let the ones who commit inhuman actions waste themselves in the sands of the Middle East!"

International Inc: "While I personally sympathize with the NRA whose guns are gonna get taken away by the Allies, there has to be this people who actively make money off of people killing each other with guns and tanks they bought from II. You know what they say; nobody has ever made profits off peace profiteering! It makes sense that they actually inspired the Allies and the Soviets' Mobile Carnage Vehicle, they wanna keep the carnage between them while picking up the scraps and gold at the battlefield. If that doesn't show that they've got a hand in all of the world's conflicts and wars, just take a look on who buys their stuff; gangsters, terrorists, and even mad cultists I tell you! For a company whose rules include not cooperating with criminals, they sure have done a good job keeping their integrity! If I had it my way, it'd be best if we all just ignore them and stop killing each other to see these crooks go out of business!"

Che was a commie revolutionary, but you know who else had revolutionary ideals? Evers, Gandhi, RFK, Malcolm X, even Buddha and Jesus themselves! And what happened to the all of them? They were rejected by society, worse, even arrested or killed just for bringing about an idea that the masses didn't like! Sisters, this MIR is just one of these ragtag folks, trampled underfoot by the one world cabal and yet fighting back to sway the balance of power to its rightful position! And so what if they fight for communism? Or any other fancy ideology? We've gotta look beyond this false capitalist-communist, left-right dichotomy, and reach out to our true allies regardless of their place in the spectrum!"

The Network: "Sisters, heed the words I will tell you today. Never have we been persecuted, silenced and oppressed by the unholy powers that be for simply saying that six and six make twelve instead of thirteen. Never have we been laughed at and joked about by 'intellectual' folk for simply looking through the other side of the veil. Never have we been ignored and pushed aside by the common man for simply saying that the leaders they've elected are up to no good! What they don't see is that you're probably doing something right for a change when everybody hates your guts. That when you research enough about conspiracies, the more you realize that there are conspiracies, and they're coming for you. That the truth is still the truth even if your feelings get hurt or your narrative gets shook! The Network of Truth Seekers is, I say it with absolute certainty, is enlightened enough to bravely say that the emperor has no clothes on. Of course, there will be slanderers and mockers, but we must endure them and carry on with our mission of spreading the scripture of the Third Eye! And that is why you're listening here at the Voice of Truth. Thank you, and good day."

Phoenix Front: "Now THIS is a revolution, sisters! A revolution by the Irish for the Irish in the streets of Belfast and Dublin not only against the Allied Big Government and the Syndicated Big Business, but for the hearts and souls of Irishmen and women being corrupted by the Allied-Syndicate military-industrial-entertainment complex! They are beneficial allies to our cause of freedom, supplying the Warriors of Truth with firearms, for they have also fell victim to the great lies pulled on them by the human-Fae hybrids ruling Dublin with their Allied tyranny and Syndicate avarice! If only they see the bigger picture, then only will Ireland be truly free from all of its oppressors! That event would, however, be inevitable for our storm pursuers shall strike at the heart of Allied Cryo-Command and their weather control devices while our ghost hunters shall get to the bottom of this Fair Folk conspiracy! Ireland, one day, you shall not only be united, but you wil also be united against all enemies from all planes!"

Arabian Coalition:

Arabian Socialist Government:

The Phoenix Front

The following are responses from the figure known as P. O' Neill to questions asked about the Front's opinion of other factions in a Front-sympathetic magazine, published in the following issue.

Allied Nations: "Once they were a common pact, nations rising together to combat a greater evil. But now, corruption and the status quo rule the parliament in Geneva, and allow serpents to slither into the homes of the innocent and helpless. The Allied Nations cannot continue on this same path for much longer. A new pact must be made that does not sacrifice the people who are part of it."

Confederate Revolutionaries: "The Irish fled to America, and America learned to accept the Irish as loyal citizens. Now, the Americans see that the Allies are no longer trustworthy. American-Irish have come back to their ancestral homes to fight, or support the Front with the money that the Allied Nations sucks up like a group of leeches. This is why we aid the Confederates, because they do not forget who their friends truly are."

Soviet Union: "We have been called communists, but that is a lie. We are socialists, like almost all of Europe. The Soviet Union is far from perfect, but it is not that of the past today. What has come from demonizing a power that simply wants to rebuild and unite out cast nations? While this does not convey that we have loyalties to the Soviets, perhaps the powers that be on Geneva must take heed on what Moscow is doing that they are not doing themselves."

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "Their invasion blunted, the Allies saw justification to tighten an ever-broadening grip on the world thanks to their actions. We do not feel any need to concern our own struggle with the Empire at present, but if they should ever act in the opposite interests of the Irish people, we will fight them."

Atomic Kingdom Of China: "We hold no judgement over what happened in China except for this; the innocents that died need not have, if only Mao and Kai Shek had stopped to realize they were pawns in a larger game, played by those who cared nothing for them except for what a victory would bring. That a greater threat has arisen is proof of the judgement on the Allies and Soviets for their sins. Sins that we will help repay, but not let fall to ourselves."

Mediterranean Syndicate: "Society has moved beyond simply catering to those who have the means to care for themselves. Instead, the world must now attempt to save those who before were below our notice. The corporations speak lies about how greed and selfishness are for our greater good, because they cannot face God’s truth that coin is closer to their hearts than us, that they wallow in sin to enrich themselves. We need to remove them and send a message to the world that we do not need them or their greed."

Order of the Talon: "The Catholic Church and Church of England have come together for the first time in centuries to oppose the actions of the Allies and Straylight Electronics in Belfast. The claims that there are secret groups of priests and religious moving through the city as assassins is a smear, created by those who see us as a threat to their hold on power."

Electrical Protectorate: "Stories continue to spread of 'robot armies' in the world’s barren places. To this, we respond with the fact that ACIN has never been bound by such concepts as truth in creating stories meant to inspire greater and more draining militarization worldwide. This is surely no exception."

African League: "Africa has been the playground for foreign powers for centuries. Its people have been abused in the name of 'civilization', children taken from their homes and enslaved, its independence brutally crushed in a manner not seen since the Spanish conquered the Americas. And now, they are fighting back to take what is rightfully theirs against those who would abuse them. How could this be anything less than a noble struggle?"

Technocratic Combine: "The Technocracy are willing to break from centuries of accepted thought, willing to seek the answers others are afraid to find. Though we cannot aid them in looking for the secrets of the universe, we are grateful that the have seen themselves willing to let their citizens aid our struggle."

Industrial Guild: "Those who fight for the Guild are just one of the many freedom fighters persecuted and prosecuted by those in power for threatening their very authority. For that, the Phoenix Front stands with the Industrial Party; and when we have driven away the oppressors off of Ireland, expect the Pahit to be driven out as well."

Southern Contingent: "Centuries ago, men were sentenced to Australia as punishment for crimes committed against the British crown. Instead of being broken, they became the creators of a proud and equal nation to the one that sent them away for their actions. That they are still loyal after their mistreatment by the Allies during World War III is either a sign that they must be respected, or that they are now broken beyond help."

American Unionists: "A frightening example of what will happen should the Allied Nations find their victory, a world where people are no longer allowed to be their own selves. They seek to actively suppress free thinking, free willed questioning of the status quo. Their actions against the Confederacy make it clear that they are no friends to the freedom of all people, only the control of those in power."

Greater Indian Commonwealth: "Enemies of the GLA and Africa, the Commonwealth have turned the lessons of colonial brutality on the people they claim to uplift. The Indian government have lost their way in delivering democracy to the people in their sphere of control, and instead are to be considered a threat to the freedom of the people of the Middle East."

Cybernetic Federation: "Despite their being at odds with the Technocracy, the governments of the Federation have taken the will of the people to heart, and have created the first system where the people's needs can be addressed immediately. They are what the Allies could become, should they see the needs of the people staring at them from afar instead of huddling behind claims of science and efficiency."

Ukrazol Ecumene: "If there are other intelligences out among the stars, their actions on this planet, not their appearance, would be the factor in judging them."

MINOR FACTION RELATIONSHIPS:

ARVN: "Whenever any Allied official calls out the ARVN for war crimes, they do this not because of genuine empathy, but as an act to save face for journalists and reporters. Make no mistake, but deep inside, they know that ARVN generals have their tacit approval; approval to incinerate and exterminate their own populace for not conforming to the oligarchy that rules South Vietnam and other European nations today."

Allied Reservists: "There should be no animosity between what would normally and rightfully be the true protectors of the world's free people. Yet they have been seconded to a force that is beholden only to itself, pushed and pulled across the planet for wars their nations had no say in. They have either been unwilling or unable to see this truth. Until such time arrives, we will combat them, and their unwillingness to stand for true liberty."

NRA: "While we know not what happened in China, what we know is that there are those who survived, and those who did will eventually fall.'

Cult of the Black Hand: "The Phoenix Front has stood firm in its vow never to inflict harm on any civilian in our struggle for freedom. Those within our ranks who dare to break it shall be punished to the fullest extent of our laws."

GLA: "The Global Liberation Army are our brothers, seeking to protect their lands from those that think they would know better than they do on how they should live their lives. They have a passion little seen elsewhere in the world today, one that, while misguided, we must respect."

International Inc: "A company should not be treated as an evil simply for pursuing business. Instead, we must look at the political leaders that allow such companies to flaunt and skirt the laws they must follow."

Communist China: "The same that was said about the NRA can be said about the PLA. If there are any survivors in the Chinese wastelands, eventually they will succumb to death as well."

Vietcong: "When the French were tossed aside by their subjects in Vietnam, a country was divided. Now the people try to become one again, blocked by the actions of ruling elites supported by a cruel and uncaring Allied parliament concerned with playing games with dominoes. Perhaps if they stopped treating the people as pieces on a board, the Vietcong would find reason to cease their campaign against the Allies and come to the table to discuss a peace."

Mongolian Migration: "We know little about Mongolia, all I will say is that they are like us; a people once great, now forced under the heel of those that would obliterate their culture."

Pahit Dictatoriat: "This tinpot dictatorship of Indonesia is just merely one of the tyrannies the Allies are willing to enable as long as they serve their causes. Look nowhere else than Sudomo himself, the Franco of Southeast Asia that they ignore for the sake of convenience. "

Inkarri Theocracy: "The way the cross was brought into the New World remains a dark stain on Europe's history. While the clergy often tried to stop this brutality, greedy men only furthered its annihilation. Now, vast swathes of what was once their soil toil under greed, the beauty and culture of the land being torn down by lira-lauding oppressors. We offer our sympathy to the Inkarri, who only want what was stolen from them by foreigners."

MIR: "When the nations of South America fell to their support of the Allies, those who dissented were hunted like dogs. Now, such brutal methods have become the fertile ash from which the MIR have risen. Like the GLA, we see solidarity with their actions to give the people of their nations a new option for their futures. Until that day, we will give them as much backing as we can gather."

The Network: "What is easier to take comfort in? That there is no control over fate, or that others decide it for you? The Network is full of men and women who wish to take solace under the protective idea that the world is not so cold as to not care whether they survive or die. Yet still they fight on, and for their fighting spirit we can do no less than help to show that their fears are unfounded, but their ideals just."

Phoenix Front: "We are not common criminals, nor are we terrorists. Their methods are merely tools we chose to utilize to free the Irish people from the criminal influences of those who own Satellite City, and the terror we suffer from under the Peacekeeper occupation of Northern Ireland. Until both are removed, the Phoenix Front is waging a political struggle, one which it will see the end of as the victors."

Arabian Coalition: "They harass the GLA because they fear what would happen to their autocratic ways should they lose. Outmoded royalty and inbred leadership cling to the idea that they still matter when the world is changing. The Allies and their support of this movement is further proof that what was once the protection of the people has turned into the saving grace of the ruling elites."

Arabian Socialist Government: "Where the Coalition is knowingly wronging the people, the Arabian Socialists are misguided in their actions. They try to uplift all, but their faults lie in how they attempt to do so. They crush ancient traditions in the name of progress, unable to realize yet what it has done to harm the people. They must realign their priorities, or fall to the same trap as the Coalition."

The Arabian Coalition

King Faizal himself has graciously decided to accede to an interview to gain an insight into Coalition foreign policy.

Allied Nations: "As I have said many times before, the Allies are our best hopes for a modern Arabian nation. Why? Because they stand against the of the Comintern to create a new and equal world order for one and all. Through them, our people; who have not been as one since the ancient days of the Umayyud Caliphate, may once again be one state as well as one nation. So selfless are they that they have even sent their own to fight alongside us against tyrants and God-haters. Thus, never have I regretted our pact with the Allies with their further peacekeeper operations until the day peace is restored in the Middle East."

Confederate Revolutionaries: "My people, these revolutionaries are no fighters for freedom, but terrorists just like those we face at home, hiding behind a flag and ideals such as this nonsense instead of the true word of the Prophet! Not only do they support Ackerman, but they went as far as to try to turn an orderly nation into a chaotic, barely-organized mess of disparate ideologies! Does these not say all that needs to be said about what manner of men they are? When they are willing to trade one overriding but functioning rule of the land for one that barely functions?"

Soviet Union: "The Soviets hate God and have cast His mercy from their lands. Twice have their red emperors plunged the world into war and twice have their ambitions been thwarted. Still, they maintain a vast military and still they send support to our enemies. They are no longer a ravenous bear, but rather they now are like a trained snake; they may not bite you in your lifetime, but you would never want to take your eyes off of them."

Empire Of The Rising Sun: "Some were quick to forgive the Japanese for their attempt at world conquest. Some even believe that the Empire truly has changed. Yet they, like the Soviets, maintain a large military - with a navy larger than the navies of any member of the Allies - and worm their monetary and cultural tendrils into the economies of every nation. I can still remember when they sought to threaten our holy cities and deprive our allies of precious fuel, and I fear that they have merely exchanged domination by the sword for domination by the lucre."

Atomic Kingdom Of China:

Mediterranean Syndicate: "Lands where proper governments have been so corrupted by their love of money are unfortunate facets of this modern age. But, it is foolish to deny the economic miracles they have created, turning backwater regions into beacons of commerce. I still believe that as long as our business with them do not influence us to their crooked path, we could remain beneficial partners for the rest of our days, although we have to be watchful of our own morality in the process."

Order of the Talon: "The Kingdom of Palestine is a strange place, a Christian land where the world seems frozen in the Victorian Era. While we have attempted to start diplomatic relations with them, they did proclaim that they shall be neutral in every present and future conflict that will occur in this world. Ultimately, I think they are of little consequence."

Electrical Protectorate: "There are strange and as of yet unexplained occurrences, but we need not cast this blame on secret armies of machines. More sensible explanations exist, and we should not indulge the flights of fancies of madmen and charlatans."

African League: "They stood with the Empire in the previous war, but they still fought for the freedom of Africa to choose its own destiny. Is this is not to be commended? We were never threatened by their actions and now we have common foes in the GLA who seek to destroy us both, and they have spoken against the Indians who seek to take our lands and return us to colonialism. If it is once said that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend', then perhaps the friend of my enemy can still be our friend."

Technocratic Combine:

Industrial Guild: "Anarchy is an ideal just as utopian as its capitalist, communist, or even syndicalist injections. Farcical, even! WIP"

Southern Contingent: "The Contingent is fundamentally selfish. Because they cannot accept our realist methods and would let us break ourselves fighting over every occupied land, they have decided that they must depart from the Allies. Through their short-sightedness, they have threatened the position of the Allies in the Pacific. We have already planned to have a word with their leaders about this debacle, in hopes to make them reconsider their departure from us. But alas, we have never received a reply from them since the day we sent our message."
