"Great Indonesia, independent & sovereign!
My land, my country which I love
Great Indonesia, independent & sovereign!
Long live Great Indonesia!"

- Indonesia Raya, Indonesian national anthem

The Pahit Dictatoriat, also known as the Pahits, is a fanmade faction formerlydeveloped by SorataZ and n5p29, it was, however deleted, and reused by Gears as a darker version of itself, to provide the current Minor faction

Threatened by the excessive war effort of the Communist bloc, then the Empire, and then the Atomic Chinese, Indonesia's old government formed a new political system and, lead by Allied foreign help, build up a new Indonesia formed after the Majapahit Kingdom about 500 years ago.

The minor faction combines tow able artillery emplacement with large scale usage of gas. Pahit gas is a high-density slow moving gas that expands and lingers over affected areas. Due to the fact that the Pahit are counting on being tolerated by the allies as a Dictatorial state, the Pahit do not use any truly destructive gasses, preferring a less harmful but long-lived variety of their own composition.

The seal of the Pahit Kingdom consists of different aspects. The 4 dots represent both death to the enemy and the 4 paths, the yellow circle represents the golden homeland, the blue circle represents the sea and the cyan-ish circle fading over into the stripes represents the far away outside world.

The Majapahit

After the Allied Nations strengthened their foothold in south-east asia via the superfortress Singapore, a rich trade with the different countries of the region begun. When the Soviet Union attacked the allies in World War II, a new pact was formed under guidance of the Allied Nations to secure SEA from soviet forces. After a few long and resource-wasting battles without any significant success, a new and radically streamlined faction was proposed in a similar vain to the Allies, lead by the political trinity of leaders elected by the people. Significant were strong defenses like those found in Singapore and an overall emphasis on movable artillery to always be ready in the island-based region.

Over the next ten years, up until 1950 this pact was strengthened with the vast amount of resources available in Indonesia, thus building up to its current size. The surprise attack of the Empire of the Rising Sun sparked an emergency situation in the Pahit Conglomerate. As the conventional economy was largely turned to military use, the large masses grew displeased with the government. After turbulent politics in Indonesia saw the rise of General superintendent Sudomo and the Pahit massacres, the other countries either lost faith in the pact or turned against the Pahit. This pressed the Pahits into adopting evermore radical policies to keep their defence lines strong. The new Pahit Dictatoriat spans over most of Indonesia, though sharing lots of land with the Guild revolution.

The Conglomerate was originally lead by two military leaders and one political leader, titled Councellor, Monarch and President. Out of the 3, the Monarch is the only one not (officially) elected by the government, however the Monarch can still be dis-elected. Each of the 3 has different tasks to do. The King is responsible for any foreign actions and matters, including any military actions outside the core land. The Councellor, who is elected by the Senate, is responsible for any military actions in the homeland, this includes production and police. The President finally is elected by the Parliament and holds power over civilian matters as well as finances, but no military power of any sort. However, currently, a state of emergency was declared, and the man in charge if all the Pahit have left is general superintendent Sudomo.

The Parliament, elected by the matter of vote, elects the President and proposes laws. The Senate, currently staffed with military staff, elects the President and can confirm laws or "request" changes to the proposed laws. The National Court is responsible to enforce the laws and the Constitution in special.

"As long as a true Indonesian remains, no communist shall find rest within this country."

- General Superintendent Sudomo speaking after the military coup, before the massacres.

Pahit gas & Upgrades

The Pahit mainly use a special, long lasting gas in combat. this gas does minor damage to anything that's not a structure, but multiple instances of the gas will amplify its effect. The Pahit Border fortification also provides a upgrade accessible in both normal skirmish and minor faction deathmatch.

Pahit Trooper The long arm of the law, the Pahit trooper is armed with a functional assault rifle and a stash of gas grenades for his secondary. The grenades linger in a relatively large area, but deal minor damage, par on course with any Pahit gas attack.
Border Guard Anti-armor/aircraft soldiers equipped with multi-purpose missile launchers. These Guards are capable of stopping advancing armor, and provide the Pahit's basic air defense measure. The Border Guard is capable of firing a special missile filled with a lighter gas variety, aimed at blinding aircraft by creating a big cloud.
Squall Recon The Squall is a lightly armed reconnaissance jeep used to spot units coming from afar, it can tow Pahit artillery around the battlefield, though this will slow it down significantly.
Typhoon Tank The workhorse of a Pahit army, the Typhoon is a well armored tank with a cannon best used against other vehicles. It can use a connection slot at the back to the vehicle to tow Pahit artillery around the battlefield without impeding its movement.
Dayak Field artillery Foot-mobile artillery, the Dayak can provide anti armor fire, as well as firing a gas-filled shell every now and then. Unfortunately the Dayak is extremely vulnerable to damage. It must be deployed before it can fire, and can be connected to a Typhoon Tank for increased mobility.
Batak Field AAA Similar to the Dayak, the Batak provides anti air artillery, and suffers from the same weaknesses. The Batak fires a missile filled with a blinding gas at aircraft every now and then, and can be towed.
Suanggi Artillery An unusual artillery piece, the Suanggi fires inaccurate salvos of special Gas-releasing shells that affect a large area. Though the shells do the same amount of damage as other Pahit gas shells, they stay on the field after being shot, releasing gas for a extended period of time. These shells also release small moving clouds of gas every so often, adding to the danger they pose. The effect of Suanggi shells, like any other Pahit gas attack, stacks on each other, slowly transforming the bombarded area into a wasteland. Suanggi shells can be destroyed by the enemy, but this will make them explode violently.
Penindasan Gunship A Pahit version of the ever-eminent Longbow, the Penindasan fires inaccurate salvos of gas grenades normally, but can also deploy in mid air to unveil a vicious combination of machine guns and auto cannons capable of shredding anything in range, allowing it to secure important artillery positions.
Leungli Destroyer A flexible ship, the Pahit's Leungli is just another version of the classic destroyer. This particular variant combines both anti ship and anti air duties, switching trough the roles as needed.
Pocong Cruiser A heavy ship capable of offshore bombardments, the Pocong Cruiser has four powerful naval guns which fire the same gas releasing shells as the Suanggi. The Pocong can switch shell ammunition to fire gas shells into the sky, blinding aircraft in a large area.

Deathmatch Reinforcements

Border Fortification Build on mainland as well as near the coast, these tough Pahit bunkers provide Pahit forces with a rallying point and fully equipped armory.
Vent One of the main defenses the Pahit have, the Vent is very simple: it's a vent to an underground pipe system that spreads Pahit gas. The vent can be opened or closed using its secondary. As units can drive over vents without problems and vents need time to spread enough gas to become dangerous, vents should be opened in anticipation of a major assault.
Guntower The staple Guntower provides a solid firing platform for a light machinegun that can do damage to stragglers surviving the Pahit gas. The Gun tower can take a lot of hits, but doesn't deal much damage.

Pahit Filters This upgrade will make all of your Pahit units immune to the effects of Pahit gas.
Subjugation Shells This upgrade will make the Typhoon's shells deal more damage against buildings and static defenses.
Aegis Armor This upgrade will equip all Pahit units with shape-memory reactive armor, allowing them to self-heal in all circumstances.
Radar Amplifier This upgrade will place a large radio aerial on top of your fortification, enabling units and buildings to be sighted in the fog of war as blips, which can be targeted by artillery.
Pahit Vaults This upgrade will make Pahit Border Fortifications drop-offs for ore collectors, and allows garrisoned infantry to transport to other Fortifications in the map.
Patriotic Flyers This upgrade will make Fortifications hand out propaganda flyers to Pahit units, raising their firepower and defense slightly when near them.
Pahit Alarm Claxons This upgrade will ring every time an enemy unit is nearby (regardless of stealth), and allows friendly units moving towards Pahit buildings to have boosted movement.
Pahit Minefields This upgrade allows all Pahit buildings to have smart mines around them, detonating when enemy units step on them.
